((old lore archived))((The following has been transcribed painfully from the account given to me by the aforementioned dragon. Needless to say, much has been lost in translation.))


SunStar was lay-sitting with her MuchLove Serpenta, Eris. They sat upon blanket with much fluff fuzzle, stay-waiting for club members. ((Please allow the certain subtleties of the Coatl language to be left to your imagination from here on. At this point SunStar began singing very high and fast and it was more difficult to understand her.))
The coatl whistled, trying to gather her club members together for the meeting. Sandstorm appeared with his sparrowmouse, and SunStar looked around to see if anyone else would join them this time. She had made cupcakes and everything, surely she could tempt someone else? Calla had a pet now too, maybe she'd join them? Finally SunStar resigned herself to another afternoon talking with a dragon who couldn't understand her and whom she too couldn't understand, and began the first order of business.
"Hi everyone~" Bloodmoon singsonged, appearing out of nowhere and settling onto the blanket beside Sandstorm.
"Oh, hello!" SunStar perked up. Her Serpenta went over to sniff the newcomer, then decided her wasn't worth her time and went back to tormenting Sandstorm's Sparrowmouse.
"I didn't know you had a pet, Bloodmoon," SunStar spoke as slowly as she could, willing him to understand.
He grinned back and lifted a Blueridge Greatshell off his back carefully. "This is...umm...I haven't decided on a name yet, but I can join your club now, right?"
"Yes, yes of course! Here, have a cupcake," SunStar nodded a few too many times, offering the plate of treats to her members. Sandstorm didn't notice; he was too busy trying to rescue his Sparrowmouse from SunStar's Serpenta.
Bloodmoon took a cupcake and got the frosting all over his whiskers. SunStar smiled and covered her face, politely trying not to laugh. Bloodmoon didn't seem to notice.
"So...uh...how are you?"
"Great, now that you're here."
Bloodmoon just giggled because he had no idea what she'd actually said, and SunStar laughed with him because she knew he didn't understand. This went on forever, or only a second. The two dragons never knew.
