____Stubborn, loud, and with a temper like dynamite, Surf has a tendency to fling herself into whatever personal goal she's set for herself, barely pausing to consider the consequences beforehand. Boundless ambition has sent her across Sornieth in search of fulfilling her goals; along the way, she met her wife River, who helps keep her grounded and practical, and provides a level head to contrast Surf's impulsivity.

____She's got a nasty habit of fighting dirty, wielding her Arcane element in battle to warp the laws of reality around her and temporarily give herself the strength to accomplish feats on the scale of wrestling a full-grown Guardian to the ground.
Together with her best friend Patch, she travels across Sornieth as a sort-of-mercenary, exterminating encroaching populations of monsters or hostile Beastclans that the duo are paid to clear out. On her travels, she's also entered into(and won) more than her fair share of gladiator shows and combat tournaments, and is a well-known fighter in the Arena.
