trivia

stature: tall, wiry

personality: well-meaning, loyal

skill set: skilled at glass-blowing, frighteningly so when it comes to making weapons, good at moving silently

elemental affiliation: Lightweaver

theme: Kill Our Way To Heaven

"Careful, it's delicate."

He may not be as talented as his father when it comes to glass-blowing, but he is well-aware, thank you very much, that his talents lie elsewhere. It isn’t long after his fiftieth attempt at making a glass manticore does he finally decide to try something new, and this is when he discovers that he’s frighteningly good at making weapons out of glass.

Slim, easy-to-conceal daggers, dangerously sharp and perfect for quiet assassinations. He makes the mistake of selling one to an actual assassin, and only discovers the consequences a week later.

The blood staining his hands may not be his, but the death of that poor dragon had been caused by his own hand. Realising just how dangerous his trade happened to be (rather suspicious dragons started turning up on his doorstep about a month after the incident, all asking for the same thing), he packed his bags and left his home clan.

But without a way to earn a living, he is as good as dead. It is not long before his empty stomach forces him to sell another of the accursed things.

And another, and another, and another.

Each time his treasure dwindles—dragons tend to pay very handsomely for his creations—and he puts another up for sale (word gets around in the streets), he is uncomfortably aware of the disaster it could cause. Empires crumble and cities burn when the right individual falls; death is a fickle and funny thing, and he likes to think that he has helped more than a fair share of assassins and bounty hunters accelerate the process.

It is a rare thing to find a dragon as hateful of his occupation as he is gifted in it.

One can only hope that he will find a more…peaceful alternative.
