Travelling from the The Twisting Crescendo is hard at the best of times even for Wind dragons. Maxence and Codex turned their backs on the tornadoes and came into the Ruins looking for a safer place to rest on the ground. Maxence is the more violent of the two as per her Wildclaw heritage, but Codex is no stranger to a scrap. He would much rather settle down and practice his magics for more delicate procedures but has been known to summon one hell of a fireball when pressed. Codex gets on well with most of the clan members in the central Gardens but is easily intimidated by the Hunters and the Wastelanders. He tends to stay closer to the sink holes in order to gather sand when needed. The Deep Dwellers for the most part ignore the pearlcatchers that travel close to their hunting grounds, but Codex has no relationship with them beyond respect. Codex uses his fire magics to twist heated sand into beautiful, fragile little statues that litter their nesting site. He also makes larger multicoloured panes of thick glass to repair holes in the ruins that are being used as shelter. |
