But the deeper she delved into spells, astrology and enchantments, the more she became aware of a sensation of - what? Loss? No, not quite. It was rather like missing something that should be ever-present. And venturing further into the studies of arcane knowledge did not erase the feeling.
Her parents did not understand and asked her to deepen her studies, enlarge her knowledge and become the apprentice of a widely known enchanter, focussing on making glittering adornments, fancy amulets and rings or the occasional prediction for astrologically interested dragons. Aurora complied, but her inner unrest grew and grew, until she became downright aggressive on the slightest disturbance of her daily routines.
