Nero

Nero is what you might call a "problem child". Abrasive and lackadaisical, with a spectacular ability to get on everyone's nerves, his parents are secretly exceedingly pleased when he goes off galavanting with Lyra and An. Capable of being brutally sarcastic. Unlike An and Lyra, Nero put his name down on the exalt list for one reason only - to visit his pure, unadulterated fury on the enemy.

The team's delayed exaltion has forced Nero to remain in the clan longer than he expected, he has begun maturing to some degree (against his best efforts). Though still as combative and annoying as ever, he has shown a degree of responsibility, helping Sylvan take care of some of the island's bestiary.

When their exaltion was put off indefinitely, Nero began working with TECHIEWAIL to produce dubstep music in the castle's catacombs. He still cares for some of the living plants around the castle, such as the Janustrap and Stranglers. Every autumn, he gives a blooming strangler to his sister, An. He keeps a Furian as a well-trained pet that goes with him to concerts.

Nero has officially quit his adoptive sister's coliseum team. He says that battling brought all his aggressive tendencies to the fore, and that making music is a much healthier way of getting it all out.

A deaf cat that accompanies Nero to concerts and music recordings. Likes to sleep on the speakers and seems to appreciate the vibrations. Some of their purrs have been remixed into TECHIEWAIL and Nero's "calm" album.
