Hunter

When this young dragon arrived for a visit in Strikeforge one of the first to seek him out was Tarnish, who had noticed something amiss in the feeling of the shrines. The spirits of the deceased had been trying to warn the young shrine-tender of the danger coming. An unrest was building in the corpses that Tarnish had been unable to give proper burial and on the outskirts of Strikeforge they arose again.

Tarnish and Oswald, followed by Lily, discovered a small scattering of them and Oswald quickly took care of them. Still, there were signs this was not all hiding in the obsidian mountains. What is causing this sudden incursion of dead in the surroundings of Strikeforge is unknown. As soon as the trio returned to the clan Lily went immediately to her adoptive father, clan leader Sygard, with Tarnish and Oswald, and warned him of what they'd encountered.

Sygard has always had a history for disliking anything associated with Plague, and this news of undead set him into action immediately. Due to his experience as Hunter, Oswald has been put in charge of recruiting and building a team to take care of the problem. Because Sygard is so adamant about eliminating them, he himself frequently goes out with the young Hunter, and has made sure all in the clan give Oswald anything and everything he requires to finish the job.

Despite this bolstering of force, the undead seem to be increasing...

"Yeah, well, you go on and think about it. Lil' and I'll be out there while you do."

"You think that darlin' gonna listen to her ol' man? That's funny. She may have blue eyes, but that girl is as much fire as the rest of them. Not gonna turn down her healin', don't matter what anybody has to say."

Sweet as pie and with manners that please his mother to no end, this dragon has captured the hearts of many. He is attentive and thoughtful to those who speak with him, and he has just a touch of a twang to his voice from growing up in the backwaters of Dragonhome.

He also has an axe to grind with the undead. He is a Hunter. Merciless and efficient, many are surprised at the dichotomy when they see him work. He holds no quarter for those who walk the earth after their time has passed, and he will do everything within his power to destroy them. Silver works, and focused sunlight, and through these pieces of knowledge, he has started seeking a dragon from the Sundial Terrace who can assist him in creating magic-imbued crystals to help protect his clan.

He is on good terms with his siblings, both from his hatching nest and those hatched in different nests, and he often trades letters with family members to exchange research ideas. When life settles down again, however, he is quite happy to romp with hatchlings and chew the cud with the elders of the clan. Family is very important to him.
