Despite his perpetual seemingly disappointed exterior, with furrowed brows and large thick eyeglasses that prevent most from seeing into his icy blue gaze (for good reason at times), Shezmu has resided in the clan long enough that most if not all have lost their fear of the crotchety floof. In fact, one of the favorite past times in the clan revolve around trying to make the poor bookworm blush or lose his temper (the most creative way of doing this being 'nerd' insults). Despite the many options of entertainment, Shezmu himself dislikes such tomfoolery and much rather hold himself up in his study/office/living quarters shut away from the wreck of a clan he has to keep up. This practice allows him to forget what a mess he got himself into upon accepting the invitation into the clan and pushes logical questions of 'Why...' to the back of his mind as he works. As Shezmu isn't much for relationships of any sort, it isn't any surprise that he feels almost no strong bonds with anyone in the clan, nor anyone with him. There are one or two exceptions however. Diablo of course favors his invitee, and reveres him as a sort of 'drinking buddy' as you could call it, much to Shezmu's chagrin due to his reclusive nature. The other would be the clan's warmaiden, Pele, who has stuck by him since they were children. Despite his hatred of her boisterous and hedonistic nature, he can't help but think she's endearing at times. Of course the 'endearing times' are reserved only for his eyes. ________________________________________ |

As the ground slowed its shaking, the only thing that could be heard was the shivering of a lone young Coatl in the middle of the floor. It was rather sad really as he couldn't have been more than 3 days old. "I-If you could be so kind sir...If you could overlook my herita---" "OVERLOOK?! That's like saying you want me to see you as one of my own or have the gall to actually help another Flight in their efforts in Dominance! Let me tell you something boy...in this world a Flight looks out for their Flight. Camaraderie is superficial. I will show mercy to you since you are still learning...you will go to the Mather and carve out a life there amongst the coal." The youth, while scared, steeled his eyes and took the Deity's words to heart. "I understand." Upon arrival in the Waste, the young dragon was met with the rather shocking form of the Mather herself. "Welcome dear boy~ I trust you found your journey home safe. Now...what's your name?" "S-Shezmu." "Ahh how noble and true. How DARE that frozen ice cube address my own children in such a way...But look where it got you." "M-ma'am..." "Call me Mather dear." "Mather...why have you come to personally see my arrival? Many new clans have forged there way here that also deserve your presence so why me?" "Ahahaha Shezmu...it's because I'd like for you to work under me. I need a right arm you see. Such a young and impressionable child such as yourself would be perfect to raise as my one and only Second." "W-What?!"
