"P-please, don't look at me!"


"Little Baldy, furless and bare. What ugly Tundra has no hair!"

Iolite was once a Tundra with a strange coloration. Her apparent baldness led to constant humiliation by her peers. Dubbed "Little Baldy", she learned early on to never draw attention to herself. Her habits persisted even after her change into a Coatl, when her bald fur morphed into sleek feathers. In many ways, she is still that shy Tundra, still afraid that no matter how much she changed, the ridicule would never stop. Her default personality can best be described as "perpetually terrified."

Due to her shy nature, Iolite has not made any friends. She cannot stand criticism without bursting into tears and deals with any and all conflicts by running away. She spends most of her time hiding between the shelves of the library. Her relationship with her mate is best described as "distant." Sometimes, though, the two can be spotted stargazing, interacting with a warmth foreign to them both.
