personality Ep is a fairly chill dragon. She tends to be quiet, only talking to Paean and the spirits. She's very self confident and cares very little about the opinions of others. She is often aloof and uncaring. She distances herself from all other dragons, excluding Paean, preferring to be in the company of spirits. Her time in the spirit world gave her a great connection to all things spiritual and causes her to have a bit of an ethereal air about her. backstory Ep was an adventurer and a spiritual emissary. She spent a good majority of her life tracking down spiritual artifacts and returning them to the spirit world. Her one purpose was to restore what dragonkind has stolen and to gain knowledge on spirits. One day, however, while returning an artifact, Epione was tricked by a vengeful spirit and trapped in the spirit world. She wandered the spirit world for a while before happening upon a desperate wizard. The wizard was also trapped, albeit, in a different way. The wizard was trapped by a king as a court wizard. He asked Ep to help him escape his imprisonment and, in return, he would help her to escape as well. Ep saw no other way out, so she agreed. As per their agreement, Ep killed the king and all his nobles. She then returned to the wizard and he set her free. He introduced himself as Paean and was so entranced by Ep that he offered to travel together and be scamming partners. Ep thought it would be great fun, so she readily agreed. job Ep is a healer for the empire. Her primary job is to fix the problems that the others cause. Her attunement to the spiritual world gives her great power to be able to mend nearly any wound. Her time is mostly spent healing the more reckless warriors, but she doesn't mind too much. When she's not healing her foolish colleagues, she spends her time communing with the spirits. She has grown quite accustomed to the presence of them around her, even though the others can't see them. She uses her connection with them to keep her people safe and to get safe passage through the woods. |
