Endymion looks like his mother, Asherah. His hide represents the sea: made of waves, sand, and mottled scales. He was born blind and unable to hear out of one ear. Although he was accepted within the Heart of the Grotto, he felt he was unable to fully cope with his disabilities on land, and he departed to the Sea of a Thousand Currents in which his mother originated from, down into the dark depths of Clan Abyss. His lack of vision and poor hearing became insignificant in such an abysmal place, and Endymion fit in as if he was born to swim.

Endymion is the bridge between Clan Abyss and the rest of the world. He journeys far and wide delivering scrolls, messages, and goods to their allied clans and occasionally to the Trading Post as well. He always seems to intuitively know the safest routes to travel in the Sea and which areas to avoid, particularly where a storm or dangerous wave is churning. Also dubbed as Endymion the Currentfinder, the clan likes to say that his deaf ear can tune into the sea currents, but his ability in that regard is unclear, seeing as he has yet to talk about it.

He is very cautious despite his broad size and presents himself with reluctance. Like his father, he is completely introverted, often exhausted after spending so much time near other dragons or forced to attend social gatherings. He cannot say the same thing about Anacostia, however, who has considerably brightened his life. Endymion often runs into her during his coming and going, and much like himself, Ana is also very reserved and quiet. He has grown to enjoy her undemanding company.
