BIOGRAPHY
Truthful light Amandeep's two older sisters loved to play tricks on him and make fun of his cowardice. They'd beg their mother for stories about fearsome Emperors, their eyes wide and eager to hear, leaving poor little Amindeep, who had no say whatsoever in what the stories contained, cowering and afraid to go to sleep at night. Even as he got older, his nightmares remained, and he wondered to himself if he was going to become an Emperor himself. Why else would these visions haunt him? Accepting of his fate, he traveled to a clan well known for their oracles and was fortunate enough to be granted a visit with the clan's heir, the Matriarch's daughter. She told him that nothing in his future indicated he would become an Emperor, and that he was destined to live a long life. Puzzled, Amindeep accepted her prophesy and wondered to himself why visions of Emperors haunted him. At that time, he had been training as a scribe and, when he found that the Heart had no scribe, he offered his services. Hyephae accepted on behalf of her mother. As a scribe, Amindeep was granted a room in the great marble hall that the Oracles called home. Still plagued with nightmares, he remained solitary, working at odd hours to preserve the clan's legacy on paper. Sometimes, he would spend his sleepless nights with the Matriarch, who also kept odd hours, and he felt like he could trust the wise Fae. So when she introduced him to the boisterous Asherah and arranged their courtship, he did not complain. At first, Asherah intimidated him. She was playful and energetic where he was stoic and quiet, but as she broke down his walls, eagerly offering to protect him from his fears, he saw why the Matriarch had insisted on their pairing. Amindeep can often be found by himself or in the company of his mate, but unless you take the time to talk to him and are patient, his anxieties will prevent him from speaking to you. |

Personality Amindeep suffers from social anxiety and is introverted to the extreme. He prefers to be left alone to do his work. He will tolerate and even enjoy the company of some, including his mate and the Matriarch and her heir, but he is most content when he is writing his tales of the clan's vivid history. He suffers from insomnia and frightful nightmares, though since meeting Asherah, he has found some measure of peace. |
