Biography

The
Haunting Poet

She/Her
Her memory lives on within the
Legends Library

Who wrote the poem?

"Where did it all go wrong?"

The following poem is taken from Lost Along the Way, a collection of poems and short stories written by various authors, including Thora herself. The book was sent by an unknown individual, even our esteemed messenger, Yoshi, does not know who it came from. This particular poem magically appeared on the pages one day and seems to be referencing the tragedy of Thora. The Legends Library is still researching the origins of the book and the strange poems that appear to write themselves.

Poet of the Pond
By: Unknown

As the sun begins to set upon that fateful day,
A clanging in the distance, whatever will they say?
No red in the water, no crimson on the rocks,
Yet frozen in the lake, with chains and rusty locks,
Lays the frigid soul,
With Fate to take its toll.

A scream cuts off the joy and sounds of revelry,
The icy corpse the product of someones devilry.
The mother cries with pain, the father bows with shame,
And the lover in suspicion, crushed by the blame.
