Biography

Pryte
pride

"There is something at the border."

By and large, Pryte is relatively removed from his emotions. What little he feels is typically very muted and reserved for a select few. He keeps to himself most of the time and will rarely seek out others actively since there is no social gain for him, usually. His mate is a natural exception to his self isolation tendencies. Pryte is a deeply prideful dragon; dare not insult him or you will earn his rare ire. Beyond keeping a weather eye out on the horizon, Pryte does little to demonstrate his loyalty to a clan willing to put up with his off-putting demeanor so he occasionally endeavours to interact for as long as he can bear.

Sentinel

Pryte was born in the Tangled Wood but he struck out on his own very young due to a deep disdain for the murk of the shadow realm. He drifted south with little care for interactions with others and eventually found himself in the Ashfall Wastes. Fire dragons were a prideful lot in his experience, and interestingly industrious in their work. Struck by a fleeting admiration, Pryte ended up sticking around the region.

It was an interesting self-discovery he made. He had never had an actual desire to be in any one place since most were far beneath his magnificent self. The young imperial soon joined an ever-growing clan of truly unique personalities. He didn't expect for them to hold his interest long but he nevertheless became something of an observer both of the group and of the surrounding area. Bregu noticed the imperial's interest in observation and offered Pryte a vital position: sentinel.

Pryte was a creature of logic and quite far-sighted so the role suited him well. Lust eventually ignited a burning need in Pryte for her company and her happiness. She too kept to herself upon her arrival with the clan and he recognized an ache in her. Much to the surprise of his clanmates, Pryte set aside his pride to become closer to the beautiful lady and the two grew close. Through his bond with a mate, Pryte became just a tiny bit more approachable and open, though everyone acknowledges that his general solitude nature will forever remain a large part of him.
