B I O G R A P H Y

As long as he can remember, Ruvell has seen images. Mirarges of things and dragons not there. They used to confuse him, and would tell his parents and kin of what he saw. Others just thought he had an active imagination, but when Ruvell started to speak with the images, or imagine he was someone else, that's when his parents knew something was wrong.
His father thought he needed just some good discipline to "toughen" him up. His mother thought differently. She pleaded with the clan's leader and healer to fix him. To make him "normal". Nothing worked, and his mother fell into a deep depression and grew sick over stress. His parents grew apart, only ever arguing about their son. Ruvell felt awful. He tried to make the episodes stop but they never did. His mother grew weaker and weaker. Ruvell did the only thing he could: he lied. He lied and told his mother and told her they had stopped. His mother was thrilled. Finally, her son was cured. Though, her time had come. She didn't awake from her sleep that night.

Ruvell fled his clan, his home. He felt never-ending shame. Was it his fault? His mother was the only dragon who even wanted to be near him. He vowed to never let a dragon care about him again. They would just hurt like his mother did.
After years of being a loner, an outsider, he came across a clan wall.
"State your business!" a tiny voice had said, Ruvell almost didn't hear it.
"I'm hungry," Ruvell responded. "I will pay for food. I just need a meal."
The clan's doors opened, a tiny dragon emerging.
"You're welcome to our food, no payment needed. I'm Aursolis."
"Ruvell." He responded, stepping into the clan.
The group was small, only 10 or 15 dragons. A gold Coatl noticed him and approached him.
"Hello visitor! Ruvell, was it? Welcome to our home. I am Aurum. I understand you are hungry. Please, let me lead you to our stores."

Ruvell had only planned to stay the night, paying them in the morning. But, Aurum offered him a home. He was so tired of travel, he accepted. And eventually, Ruvell earned himself the role of Advisor. Ruvell even told Aurum of his ailment, but Aurum didn't think of it as a big deal. She valued his opinions, and told him she's glad he stepped into the clan all those nights ago.
