A solitary dragon, Astarael tends to frighten her clanmates. Many would willingly ask her to leave the clan if her role within it were not so important. After all, in the birthplace of Imperials, it is unwise to establish a clan without a member dedicated to ensuring that no Emperors are born within its boundaries.

Astarael is that dragon. Her duties as priestess of the dead extend to all dragon races, however. She will carefully tend them all, smallest to largest, without complaint. Without speaking at all, in fact. She mostly chooses to remain silent. When she does speak, her booming voice always carries an undertone of lament, a hint of a wail that has yet to be voiced.
