Esselm's wings made a few last hard beats as her paws lighted on the ground, dust quickly settling around her. Her bag was full of items to be delivered here, to this windy clan. It was certainly easy to take off and glide with little effort, that was for sure! She mused about how the hatchlings here must learn to fly earlier in life due to the friendly winds as she walked to the edge of the clan camp.

It wasn't long before the clan greeted her, asking why she was here. The long Imperial settled onto her haunches as she reached into her bag, dust coming off her travel-worn hide in small poofs as she shifted to move the items one by one into view. They were gifts from a foresting clan, one at the edge of a swamp far from here. She told them stories of her home long into the night, finally laying her head to rest after a long feast.

When she had to leave the next morning, she couldn't help but look back regretfully at the Windy clan, wishing that she could have stayed to enjoy their light and buoyant energy for longer. 'All wonderful things must come to an end,' she thought sadly to herself. And with that, she took to the wind, starting her long journey home.
