She had been wandering around the desert for days without seeing anything or anyone. Until that is she spied a Tundra male looking equally lost (and also somehow not dying in the heat). It was then that she met Tiko. It didn't take long for them to team up and start living together, for hunting with a partner is easier than hunting alone. And after a while they decided to have a nest together.

From that nest they had two wonderful kids, Kalen and Vash. But as their family grew Tiko and Ari where finding out that they where just to different form each other to last as a couple.
While living together as friends was one thing raising children was another. Ari was constantly being frustrated with Tiko's lax parenting techniques, for she believed that strict discipline was the key to raising children that would survive. While Tiko taught the kids about science and how to tinker, Ari was always getting them outside to train, fearful for the day they would go out on their own. Needless to say the partnership couldn't last , and as soon as the kids had grown up Tiko and Ari split-up. And while they still live under the same roof they are no longer mates.

After awhile more and more new dragons started to join the clan that Tiko and Ari had made. Some came to work with Tiko on whatever his latest invention was, others to join Ari in the pursuit of becoming warriors and protecting their new home. And still more came because they had no where else to go and there is strength in numbers.
