Merchant
Merchants are involved with the buying, trading and selling of clan goods. They are the ones that send items to the auction house and keep stock of item values. Additionally, they will typically set up stalls at the crossroads in an attempt to sell clan goods. They are accompanied by guards when at the Trading Post. Most of the money gained from selling goes to the clan. "You are irreplaceable, despite the million others of your make and model." Genbu is anxious to explore other clans and the world they live in. She wants to see the world and what it has to offer. She's a rambunctious dragon, uncharacteristic for the Fae breed of dragons, whose actions are dictated by her curiosity, dreams and emotions. Other - Character Traits: Light-hearted, Jovial, Emphatic, Understanding, Curious, Rambunctious, Practical, Somewhat Energetic - Sin vs. Virtue: Envy/Liberality - Genbu is homosexual- something that she figured out slowly over time while living in both her birthclan and current clan. - Genbu is purely a Fae, sharing her genes with both parents. - Likes: Admiring nature, Going on walks, Insect-catching, Sleeping under trees - Dislikes: Very hot places, Dragonhome, Snakes - Secret(s): Genbu has an addiction to one of the Lavaburst's alcoholic beverages- Icefield Ale. She has never told anyone about this. - According to the Sornieth Floriography Guide, bluelipped thresh stands for energy. - Her rhodochrosite crane is named Rose after her friend back at the DreamShard Clan who also owns a rhodochrosite crane. Genbu's is a female. - She was sent to live in the Lavaburst Clan by her parents in the DreamShard Clan to further seal the bond between the two clans. Additionally, her parents are the leaders and founders of the clan. - Genbu is the sort to do something than be oblivious to the effects that her actions may have on those around her. - Genbu hates travelling to Dragonhome, the Earth domain, because she hates looking at the sad and cracked land and the broken Pillar of the World. Not to mention that the least clans reside in the Earth Domain, so this gives the land an abandoned presence. - She wears a walnut-colored bag containing different elixirs from Roanne, the alchemist who can also develop potions, meant to revitalize and heal in case of an emergency. - Genbu is skilled in mathematics. - She has a number of stardust sap lamps and objects bearing the Arcane symbol in her residence. - Before she left, she took magical shards from the Arcanist's domains as a way to remember her birthclan. She visits them on the occasion, usually when she passes by on her merchant work. - Genbu's favorite food is honeycomb fragments, another unique quirk of hers as Faes don't usually consume plants. She just enjoys its sweetness, who cares if she has to fight some bees for it? - Her friends and family back at the DreamShard Clan wrote her some letters and provided her with her favorite food (honeycombs!), a jagged beak, and two brooches (one green, the other red). - The letters are displayed here. - Her family calls her "Genny". - She learned some magic from Orion as a welcome gift from him. She can create small forcefields for a short period of time. - She follows Atlas around when he goes about his merchant business, as he is her mentor. She does sell some of her own stuff though. - Genbu carries random items that she collects during her travels in her bag. They are for friends and family back home in either the DreamShard or Lavaburst clans. Genbu's Wares Genbu sells items from the Lavaburst's own hoard and what she gains from travelling around the world. Additionally, she sells items listed on the exports page. Basilisk Feather Fan - A fan made from the red feathers of a basilisk. It's rumored to freeze time and keep dragons young. It sells for 23t. Chimera Relic - A small chimera figurine made from a golden metal. It's from the Blacksand Annex over at the Ashfall Waste. It sells for 35t. Pickaxe - A pickaxe meant for dragons who mine and etc. It sells for 100t. Stag Figurine - A charm meant to give travelers good luck so that their journeys are swift. It sells for 47t.
