Biography

Aurum's story starts sad. He's from a clan of dragons that was involved in a long and pointless war, and eventually his clan lost. During the fighting he was gravely injured, his beautiful wings smashed beyond even magical healing. Now completely incapable of flying, and too injured to fight, he was forced to hide as the rest of his clan was captured and sold. Consumed with guilt, he wandered the land trying to run from his past.

After finding himself in arcane territory, he soon ran into the Stormhold Clan. It took a while before he opened up to anyone, but eventually he found a friend; Dawn. She gave him a reason to move on, and put his past behind him. When they announced they were planning to become mates, Dawn's father Willowisp even gave him a 'dowry' in the form of a set of magichanical wing braces which he'd invented himself. They couldn't heal Aurum's wings completely, but they allowed him to fly again. Now he's devoted himself to his new mate and family, and is finally happy again.
