A pretty boy with penchant for partying, Jack is a flamboyant dragon with a love for the ladies who likes his mane spiked to perfection. Cocky, competitive, and cavalier, Jack may seem like a frivolous glory hound who needs to take things more seriously. However, underneath that devil-may-care exterior lies a dragon who would do anything for his team. Quick to notice when others are taking on too much (especially Ryu), Jack will go out of his way to make overworked dragons relax while he and fellow clanmates pick up the slack. Despite his fame-hungry ways, he has learned to trust and rely on his friends and to encourage others (looking at you, Ryu) to do the same. He doesn't like to get others involved in his problems, preferring to deal with things on his own, but understands that in order to practice what he preaches, he too needs to let others in. In the past, Jack was the lead singer of a popular muscial group and had many fans flock to his performances. He still occasionally does performances now for patrons of the Prehnite Star, though perhaps in slightly less outlandish outfits than he wore before. A lesser-known aspect of his past is that he spent much of his younger days in poverty before joining a gang, performing misdeeds and wreaking havoc all around. However, a kind law enforcer named Jody reached out to him and helped him change his criminal ways, and Jack now works as a rule enforcer and racer under Jody's command alongside Ryu in Clan Vagabond. Jack has yet to win against Falcon and doesn't often win against Ryu, something that frustrates him immensely and has him reaffirming their rivalry with every match. Despite this, Jack respects Falcon and is best friends with Ryu, and his racing skills aren't something to be overlooked either. He is particularly skilled at accelerating quickly, but has trouble with the extreme boosts of power that Falcon and Ryu are known for. In his free time, Jack can often be found cruising around with his familiar, Astro Robin, dragging Ryu out to explore whatever place the clan's stopped at, or drinking banana juice in the Prehnite Star. He insists that an "ace flier" like himself has to stay healthy and refuses to touch any alcoholic drinks. |
