______ Spinel might look cute, pure and totally harmless. Well it`s true that her name is associate with a stone of immortal beauty, but attention! She's not only that. It isn't a coincidence that she was named 'Spinel', also called the great impostor of the gemstone world. Often it has been mistaken for all sorts of other gemstones, occasionally on purpose to deceive customers.

______ As a pastel colored Coatl she often is regarded as a bad omen, by dragons out of the clan.

______ Rumors say she can be quite flirtatious and forward during her attempts of speaking with dragons she just meet, acting like a fragile lady. However, behind their backs, she is brutish, rough, and potent. She interacts with her "kind" personality when speaking with others as she has received negative reactions when she showed her true personality to them, which badly affected her self-esteem and led her to believe that she would never be really loved. She also dislikes flattery. Her facade does not work all the time however; The dragons of this clan and most notably Zircon is able to see through it and seemingly unaffected by it. Spinel is particularly skilled in barehanded combat and was able to fell a tree with a single punch, when she first met Zirkon, after she instinctively returned to Emberglow Hearth.
Now don't get me wrong ...
She would be a loving, kind and caring mother ...
As long as no one getting near her children!

Zircon: I hate this! Where's someone I can kill? I don't want to hold back any longer! It has been too long since I've seen real mayhem, death, and destruction! AND ...

Spinel: Oh, Zircon! Darling! I see some things about you never, ever change.

Zircon: ?! Darling?

Spinel: Have you seen anyone else around? Anyone within earshot, perhaps? I'd hate for there to be someone hiding nearby...

Zircon: Oh. Of course. Nope. No one else but me.

Spinel: ... Pheeeew! Gods, I'm exhausted!

Zircon: Heh ... You can switch attitudes as fast as ever, I see.

Spinel: Of course. I've been doing it my whole life; it'd be pretty sad if I wasn't good at it. I have to be ready at any moment to put on the helpless-lady act. I can't believe how many dragons actually believe this frail act is legit. No one in this region is even remotely like this. Maybe that's why it works ... I think I'm jealous of you, Zircon. You always get to act like yourself. It doesn't matter if dragons are around. You don't put on an act ~ You just...are.

Zircon: That's true ... But a lot of dragons are afraid of me. More of them might not be afraid of me if I acted like a totally harmless Skydancer, but if it's that tiring, why not drop the act and be yourself for a change?
