ABOUT HIMSELF

______ As most people think of a bright blue sky when they hear his name, because popular colors of 'Zircon' are vivid blue or bright Caribbean Sea, his name is quite a joke to many dragons. However his unusual strawberry red was never a problem for him. Zirkon never judges others by appearance nor their breed. Well, the fact is, he's more of a loner. To get more jobs he's wearing a blue skin wich suits his name a little better.
He traveled the world as a mercenary and one day he landed here.

______ He has a cool and aloof personality and tends to keep things to himself. His way of talking is direct and somewhat unwieldy. He has the tendency to work alone and entirely out of his own personal motivations. Zircon is not one to display his emotions very readily, as his interactions with various dragons prove; his speech is one that comprises of one-liners and short phrases, distinctly failing to betray any feelings that he may be experiencing when conversing with others.
But there is kind of a switch in his head. When it's triggered his whole personality change.
He has sudden, if not sometimes random, impulses for killing others as a result of witnessing all of his children and former mates suddenly getting exalted.
He often comes off as scary to other dragons due to his immense bloodlust toward basically anything that angers him, including his allies. While he enjoys killing, he enjoys a challenge and respects those that fight well, stating that "there's no fun if they fall apart after one hit.".

______ Zircon is shown to have some knowledge that his behavior is wrong, as shown in his conversations with Spinel where it's a pastime that he can't give up. He also admits that stabbing doesn't have to be the solution for everything. The way of speaking with Spinel is very different from others, because he has a thing for her.

______ He cooks the best out of everyone else in the clan primarily because he always cooked his own meal due to his fear of poisoned food. Furthermore he enjoys cooking with meat as he enjoys the blood that spews out when he cuts it, as a result of his battlefield bloodlust.

Now don't get me wrong ...
He would be a kind, amorevolous and caring father ...
As long as no one getting near his children or his wife!

Spinel: As if it's that easy! Don't you understand, Zircon? They all expect me to act this way. If I don't, I'll never be able to get ahead. If the kind of dragon I actually am was at all appealing, I wouldn't act! But that just isn't the case.

Zircon: That's rough...

Spinel: It's a refreshing break to break loose in front of you, I will admit.

Zircon: I actually wanted to ask... Why don't you put on your act around me?

Spinel: Well, we have known each other for quite some time now ... And you've never seemed the type to judge anyone. It's just easier to be myself around you. Almost comforting, really. You're like a big, soothing ... rock. Or something.
I'm just a little jealous of you. You always show your true self to people, no matter what. You don't hide how much you enjoy killing people. I think most people would pretend to be something else; I would.

Zircon: I suppose that's a good thing, but if everyone knew your real personality, they'd be really surprised.

Spinel: Don't even joke about that, Zircon. In fact ~ Just so we're clear ~ If you tell anyone that I'm acting most of the time ...
Well, they may never find all of you. OK, that's enough rest for me. Time to go play nice again!

Zircon: Don't push yourself too hard.

Spinel: Yikes, here come some folks. It's a pain, but I've got no choice! Teehee! Why hello there, everyone! How are you doing? *leaves*

Zircon: Hah ... She could teach them a thing or two about fighting, if she wanted...
