"Direct any further inquiries to the embear, please."
-
Igido stumbled into the clan nearly on accident. Unfortunately, he found himself in the clan during Arx's rule. He was quickly collected by the queen, as she was infatuated by his gems and shine. Being so passive, Igido simply let himself be claimed, and readily performed any task she had for him. Most of the tasks were simple chores of mapmaking, copying scrolls, and organizing books. Some say Igido was left largely unharmed (except for a bit of overworking) during Arx's rule because of his fiercely loyal and extremely large embear familiar, who stood guard over the meek Igido.
As leader of the Ranger faction, Igido oversees most of the ongoings between himself, Sunspear, Rhoyne, and Bandit. The faction scouts, maps, and as their name entails, ranges. However, Igido is not too practical with his duties and prefers to let the warm-colored dragons do as they please. Rhoyne was originally supposed to take the mantle after his mother, but refused it and appointed Igido instead. Overall, the system works, but has quite a few inherit flaws.
Despite his position as a lord, Igido prefers to stay to his chambers, dutifully penning and drawing. He has mapped the entirety of the Blacksand Beach, and expands every day, searching for new lands to survey. He often takes one of his faction with him as both guard and company.
Igido is a very down-to-earth, humble, although fairly awkward imperial. He enjoys solidarity and the only dragons he is seen with for extensive periods of time are those of his faction. Igido is not an able fighter and leaves such matters to Bandit and Rhoyne, who are much more capable than he. Because he is not well socialized and much prefers to explore the far reaches of the territory alone, Igido often embarrasses himself in front of foreign dragons and the subject of ridicule. He does not seem to mind such things, though, and simply returns to his duties.
