How long have they known each other? Years, centuries, eons.

She was from Lightning lands, he was born in Fire domain, yet they met far away from both, on Arcane islands, following the constant calling of their hearts.

When she saw him for the first time, she expected to be excited. Elated. Confused, maybe, or shy, or maybe even wary. Instead, she just... knew. It wasn’t even happiness, the emotion she felt. Only contentment and finally, finally something clicking right, the way it was always supposed to be. So she simply smiled and said:

“I found you.”

And wasn’t surprised in the slightest to hear him say the very same phrase at the very same moment.
