Akruht is an exalted dragon who has retained her ascension, despite having vanished out and under from the Stormcatcher's wings. She has escaped, and she has been enlightened; the gods do not want to save Sornieth, they want to rule it. The protection of the world and prevention of the next Shade falls on the hands of the created. Akruht will be the one to save them. EXALTED Akruht was thrown to the Stormbringer by her original clan to become a warrior of the skies. When she arrived, she found the ranks of the Exalted to be as corrupt and malleable as the mortals below. Worse, because their proximity to the Lightning Diety made them try all the harder to disguise their schemes. They held so much power, and yet they used it only for the good of the Stormbringer's selfish wants. He wanted progress, his progress; not the world's. She was brought back to soil by the workings of Saimyasa. With stolen Blessing in tow, Akruht began a new work on the surface of Sornieth. With the help of dark mages, forbidden magic and living machines, she will forge her Exalted sanctuary--and her weapon. She was able to thrive for years before the Stormcatcher discovered what she was doing and how she was doing it. Fearing the ire of the other deities, he cracked down on her. Rather than comply and give up her work, Akruht and the rest of her clan fled, shepherded to the bowels of the Tangled wood by Saimyasa, Tarrow and Jyne.
