A hot summer day to a Tundra was tough. But second in line to that? A dark colored female imperial. Starlight wiped the sweat beads under her cap, her bright red light bouncing in the wind. Dad must be sweating through his scales! She thought, looking at the large, Obsidian Gate. To anyone else, it might look like a dragon standing outside an Obsidian gate to nothing. You could even walk around it. However, once the gate opened, you could see inside the town. A magical barrier placed the Oasis in a pocket dimension, where the water ran cool under the ground. Unfortunately, they still were faced with nature, rain, and Flamecaller's boiling summer. Starlight looked around. She had plopped herself on the little cobblestone wall infront of the opening to the downstairs caves. She caught the breeze as another dragon came souring up, and she closed her eyes and smiled. Ah...wind. A large shadow dropped over her, and Starlight lifted a fur covered eyebrow, and smiled. A large snapper stared down at her, bottom jaw jutted out. His pale blue eyes seemed tiny compared to his head, and a large bird skull was attached to Armor on his right leg. Starlight smiled, as the big dragon rumbled. "Starlight, a pleasure to see you keeping cool." Bear said, a grin breaking across his face. "The pleasure is mine." The tomboyish imperial responded, sitting up on the wall. "What can I help you with, Bear?" The snapper looked up thoughtfully. "You know..." He started, then look straight ahead. "Uh...Well...I forgot." Bear sighed and shook his head. Starlight laughed. "Its quite alright. Why not ask Berry? She'll probably have something to help." Bear nodded, and lumbered off, Obsidian cobblestones trailing his path. Starlight sighed. It was still hot, she was still bored, and the day still stretched on. She hopped off the little wall, and headed to the library. Maybe she could bother Moonglow there.

Starlight is the clans practical prankster, and she takes her role seriously. Figuring out everyone's sent to tell when someone's nearby, her massing figure tends to melt into the shadows when she wishes. Not literally, of corse. It would take an emperor to do that. Of corse, that was her All Hallows' Eve costume, but no one really enjoyed it as much as she did. Starlight has her fathers' strength and humor, and none of her mother or brothers calmness and tranquillity except for when she's tired or hot. While she did have kids with Pastel, she considers herself more of a helper mother. Pastel wanted more kids than she did at that time, she just helped him out with that. Even with all of her pranks, Starlight is fiercely determined to protect her home, and rarely lets a visitor, Delegate, or anything else in without her checking them out. Intruders get a special welcome.
