OCEANBLOOD
Advisor
The small, green fae eyes you carefully for a moment before extending his claws for a polite handshake. "I see you've met Ari," he says with a light chuckle. His voice is melodic and gentle, almost like the guardian's. "Welcome to the Cloudwatch Outpost. I'm the Matriarch's advisor, and as she's- ah- a bit eccentric, most people come talk to me first. So, what business do you have here today?"

Oceanblood was the first dragon to join Ari. The two friends are very close, and she trusts him deeply, enough that you'll often see a grey bird flitting around his wings- her own peculiar way of making sure he's always safe. He is the more levelheaded and intelligent of the two, a calming influence, and one of the stronger mages of the clan. The seer's right-hand man, he helps her in almost all decision-making and planning, from organization to interior decoration.

  • THE SMOKESTACKS- the local forges, where a handful of metalworkers reside, creating products for the clan and to sell.
  • THE RAVEN'S NEST- easily seen from a distance, a large windmill perched atop a stone spire, where the Matriarch's flock nests and where she can often be found.
  • THE ROUND FORUM- a large stone circle, the lifeblood of the Outpost, where couriers, escorts, and mercenaries, as well as other traveling dragons, land and depart.
  • ZEPHYR SHRINE- a large runestone, believed to be a small fragment of the original pillar, that the Outpost was built around. Many small shrines have been built around it, and it is here that travelers pray for strong wings and safe journeys.
  • THE REDWALKS- the side streets of the outpost, where most businesses and storefronts are located, named for the swinging orange-red lanterns and paper banners that line the cobblestone streets and wooden walkways between spires

LAIR PLAN:
  • tabs for each major area (the Seabird's Rest, Round Forum, Raven's Nest, Smokestacks, Zephyr Shrine, Redwalks, Gardens, etc.)
    1. Raven's Nest- Ari, Oceanblood (directory), Kulukan (wishlist, expenses, plans, etc.), Lupa (lore), Yunwin (coliseum), & Birds (TM)
    2. Round Forum- all mercenaries, scavengers, guards, hunters, rangers, navigators, traveling merchants, and couriers. Swarming with dragons, it is the lifeblood of the outpost. A large inn's windows flicker with welcoming lamplight, a general store sign bangs in the wind.
    3. The Seabirds Rest- Mollymawk & Auklet (owners), Hope (entertainer), other permanant residents/employees, another page for temporary stays (visiting nesting pairs, fodder, etc.)
    4. Redwalks- all store owners and places of business, including tailors, alchemists, cartographers, general store owners, herbalists, etc.
    5. Smokestacks- Tynith, Dairon, Vesta, and all other blacksmiths, electricians on another page (?)
    6. Zephyr Shrine- Eurus & Zephryus & and the other 2 wind spirits you still need to buy, priests, wind flight devout, and otherwise
    7. ???- Venatrix, Altum, Dawnwander, Inber, and Lessus (the Gaoler family)
    8. Gardens- Bryidea & her herbalist/poisoner wife that you still need to buy, Thalia, Anatoli (a harried-looking pearlcatcher) & permababies & all hatchlings otherwise on another page, and all other herbalists, livestock herders, and gardeners
    9. Plains- Idun, other residents who live outside of the outpost or can be most frequently found outside its walls. Well-traveled dirt paths dotted with path-markers like stacked stones or small shrines, and a low cluster of old ruins stretching out from the Outpost's walls. A low, crumbled watchtower a distance away is a landmark that one is close to the Outpost.

  • sort dragons into their lore locations (WIPs likely go into the Hibernal Den)
  • need a tab for g1s? or find out how they fit in the lore
  • GET. CONSISTENT. BIOS

While the grass in many places across the plateau was broken by jagged spires of rock, one in particular sheltered the cluster of low buildings

His home is a cave burrowed into the largest rock spire that looks over the Cloudwatch Outpost, which also houses the windmill. Many of the homes here are tunneled into the rock of the spires and the earth, oftentimes with wooden platforms and hanging bridges attached. The Redwalks, in particular, are both a marketplace on the ground and between the spires, suspended between the air and the earth.

earth shattered by tornados and wind, tearing grass and stone from the earth and uprooting black spires of volcanic stone protruding form the great base of the smoking forge of the Flamecaller that smudges the horizon to the south like a great roiling blot of ink smeared on the edge of a map. fluttering banners hang from the jagged spires and broken earth that shelters the Outpost, a cluster of low buildings, hanging walkways and teetering structures
