Smoky

You will never find Smoky in one place for too long. Sometimes he’ll be (attempting) to help garden, sometimes he’ll be hunting, sometimes he’ll be helping Ayakai trade for artifacts. When he was younger he wanted to travel, but decided against it. He found love once, in the energetic spiral Zaleka, and a second time, in the quiet fae Vioni. Perhaps the only consistent thing about him is his inconsistency, although he does tend to curl up with a good scroll in the library at around the same time every week.

Smoky has found his niche, though, in doing whatever odd jobs need doing. If any member of the village needs extra help or needs to take a day off, he’s generally ready to step in and offer a helping hand. While he often thinks of himself as uninteresting, Vioni points out the fact that he has a quick wit and a large helping of empathy.

Currently, he lives in Vioni’s family’s inn, alongside most of the extended family. He has a good view of the ocean from the window, and when there are no other jobs to do he will help serve food and clean up.
