Biography

Autumn has been with the clan for a long time, and her loyalty is unquestionable. She has no specialty, but never lacks imagination or ability to adapt - whatever needs extra hands tends to end up with her involved in it somehow. She says she's still searching for what she wants to do.

She isn't the robotics master that Jen and Ori are, or an architect or engineer; she isn't particularly gifted in herbalism or natural arts, mechanics aren't her interest, and magic didn't seem to work as well for her as others. She spent her time drawing on walls and wandering around, doing idle tasks and dodging Tyrant's critical eye.

Then, along came Fall.

The clan had many storytellers, but it didn't have many artists. Most of the dragons were more interested in function than form; things could be pretty, but if they didn't work, what was the point?

Fall, however, came from an entirely different tradition and viewpoint, and encouraged her to pursue and increase her talents. Soon, the walls of their den were coated in painted and repainted vibrant scenes as she slowly built skill and confidence. It wasn't long before random murals started cropping up around other areas, first depicting the various prominent clan heads- one dedicated to the Elementalists, one to Tyrant and Sidcatha, with their children below them, one to the Stormcatcher - but soon they started depicting whatever she liked them to, often telling stories or trying to recreate scenes she remembered from her long tenure among the clan.

No dragon seemed to complain. In fact, some started competing for their dens to be decorated, too, or whining - how come MY workspace doesn't have something on it - to the point where she started trading murals for trinkets.

It's funny, she'd say, how it took an outsider to let her find her place in the clan.

These days she spends her days a lot more productively than before; what used to be a hobby is now what she spends most of her time on. Her biggest fear didn't ever come true - no one objects, or says that she's wasting her time on it. The general consensus seems to be as long as she's doing something, and others enjoy it, why not? It's certainly brightened up the lair and made workspaces far more interesting.

Exalting Autumn to the service of the Stormcatcher will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
