When little Aura poked her snout out of her little egg, she sensed a bunch of living beings and heard murmurings of welcome. When she was a few weeks older she learned that her parents are shadow-touched and so was she and her siblings, she discovered abilities she possessed that only a few have: sensing a dragon's aura and seeing ghosts.
It's been a month now and she knew this isn't the lair she's meant to be, she was a little reckless that made the older dragons annoyed. So she decided she wanted to leave, and so her parents allowed her, the clan left her words like "be careful!" And she did hear one say "Be a good dragon!" "Don't be afraid!" Well, she, after all was not like the other pearlcatchers who are cowards. She did not travel far, for soon she saw a black colored fae scavenging around the area. "What are you looking for?" "Gems" answered the fae "What for?" "To come home" Aura was utterly confused by this. "And you? What are you looking for?" The fae asked "A home" Aura replied hesitantly The fae kept asking questions and aura answered them. "We have a space for you in my clan, although, you have many things to learn before you become fully accepted into my clan. Oh and make sure you don't answer all the questions a stranger ask you, not until you're sure they're trustworthy. You never know they can use the knowledge to their advantage" Aura nodded and followed the fae to her new home. In her days in this clan, Aura became a strong fighter with and without magic, she wore the bones of the enemies her clan fought, and she learned to control which souls she can see and which she can't. Aura was now a full member of a clan that rarely follows rules. After all, where's the fun in that? |
