CATALYST (formerly Romance)
Conduit of Mana 
A flamboyant and overtly ambitious mage, Catalyst is known for sparking several controversies throughout the years, even getting himself banished once or twice. But after he helped rescue the Brightwing Clan when they were stranded in the Shifting Expanse, Catalyst was allowed back into his beloved Academy of Magi. It was there that he discovered that he could fascilitate the channeling of a great deal more mana into the school, allowing for a much greater ability for experimentation and research. But in order to do this, he had to become the Conduit of Mana - his body bridging this channel indefinitely. Now, Catalyst serves as the very soul of the Academy. Though he cannot leave, he thrives in his deep involvement with the education of young mages -- probably moreso than the school's Headmasters would approve of. |
