Loftywing was living in a Light lair when she decided she'd had enough. She packed up her Wind Sprite and off they flew. First they flew to a Lightning Lair and talked to the dragons there. They suggested Moonlit Nyyt Weyr as a place that 'collected Antiques.' It didn't take them long to get to that Shadow lair on the river. That looked perfect - cool, moist and dark sounded wonderful. Wyldyrn welcomed them and introduced Lofty to Tanglewing.

Lofty is a weather researcher. She will be able to help the hunters and harvesters of this weyr in knowing when to protect the shroom crop and when to let the weather through. She combines her Arcane heritage with her interest in the winds for the good of her home. She has learned to follow Aer Sprites and Glowbugs to learn the ways of the winds. Sometimes she flies so fast that she seems to disappear.
