While travelling Across the Sea of a Thousand Currents, A Sudden Storm Knocked Sandclaw Into the water.
When She Awoke, She was in a cave carved into the side of the Zephyr Steppes. After getting back to her feet, a Golden Emperial dragon flew into the cave.
"Oh, good, You're awake." They shifted their tail, Revealing a very comfy looking cloud-dancer. "I'm Iris, and this is Sunburn. Welcome to the clan of the circling serpents." Iris was beautiful, wearing a chitin mask and fans along her wings. "What's your name? Also, feel free to ask for anything. Our clan doesn't discriminate between flights."
Sandclaw sighed. "My name is Sandclaw, and I have made it my life's goal to travel across sornieth. I have a bit of a headache right now, but other that the sores and bruises, I think I'm alright."
Iris nodded. "Tell me when you feel fit to fly a bit more. The rest of my clan is waiting for you at the churnscar wharf." Sandclaw nodded in understanding, and Iris scooped up her familiar and turned to leave. "You should get more rest, I left some lilies for you if you get hungry!" The shining gold dragon leaped of the cliff edge and soared across the ocean before turning away and out of sight.

(Sandclaw's location as of this moment- Axlentecint)

Sandclaw woke up feeling refreshed, and looked up to see a nocturne waiting rather impatiently in the corner. "Hello?..." She called out, voice scratchy from sleep.
The nocturne leaped to his feet, Nearly buzzing from excitement. "Hey Sandclaw! I know your name because my Iris told me, I'm not a creep y'know. I'm Caeruleum!"
The white and blue nocturne talked quickly, and punctuated his words with claw signs and tail swishes.
She searched her mind for a response, however, the energetic nocturne quickly started chatting again in that fast paced way of his.
Sandclaw grabbed her leftover lilies, and gulped them down before turning to face Caeruleum, who had followed her to the small pile of plant matter.
The said dragon had seemed to finish it's rant about how cute sunburn was, Which she agreed about, but a rant was a bit unnecessary.
Caeruleum took a deep breath, "Anyway, do you think you could fly down to the wharf anytime soon? Everyone's exited to meet you!"
"Sandclaw nodded happily. "I could definitely go flying right now. Apart from some small bruises, I feel fine." The urge to spread her wings had been tugging away at the edge of her mind for the past few hours. Caeruleum clapped his hands "Wonderful! I'll give you a few minutes to get ready, It's a 40 minute flight a most. The wind is good, so I think it'll take bout' 30."
Sandclaw hopped from foot to foot. "Can we go now? I think it'll be good to get out of this cave and stretch my wings for well, a while."
The nocturne nodded in understanding. "Of course! I can ask the matriarch if we can get you some welcome jewelry too. Shiny stuff is cool, Ya know?"
He turned to face the cave entrance. "Sure you got everything?"
Sandclaw searched through her mind, but nothing came up. "Yeah, think I got everything."
She adjusted her bag. and got ready to fly again.
Cutscene where she flies I think

When she landed at the dock, Caeruleum led to her to a rather large looking building. He knocked on the door and yelled to whoever was behind it "Look good guys! Newbie's Here!" When he opened the gate, Sandclaw couldn't help but let out a snort. Almost every dragon in the room was frozen still, most doing an action of sort. Iris was shaking her head, and a regal looking fae was was letting out a almost non-monotone sigh. You didn't need to know Faefan too tell it was disappointed and exasperated. "We're sorry about the mess, we haven't gotten any new ones in a while. Can't tell if that's good or bad though." The fae spoke. It turned to the others, who were still comically frozen. "C'mon guys! You're all acting like statues, and we only have one Obelisk here!" The said obelisk was quickly shedding it's stone skin. The fae (Who Sandclaw guessed was the leader,) had brought back all the frozen dragons back to life, a chorus of apologies echoing through the room. The clan leader waved over a black and pink skydancer. "My name's Axolotl, And as you've probably guessed, I'm the founder of the clan, and this is phresh, our representative. She'll be helping you, as that's her job. She doesn't get paid, and constantly works." The fae laughed a bit. She volunteered, don't worry. She only has to do fetch quests and talk to people anyway." The skydancer, Phresh, flapped her wings elegantly. "Sorry about our leader's bad sense of humor. I've had to catch up to dragons on their way to the council." Iris smiled. The clan seemed very nice. Suddenly, Caeruleum jumped on to her head, nearly knocking her over. "Hey boss! Can we get some welcome shinies?!" He flared his wings, and tugged on her horns.
"Ow! Get off my head, Caerul- Hey! Stop tugging out my hair!"
The sudden onslaught stopped when Iris, gladekeeper bless her, pried off the impudent nocturne. "Cael, dear, say sorry to Sandclaw. You know you can't just jump on dragons like that.", she chided.
Sandclaw was about to reassure iris, but a flash of blue dived down from the rafters. It smashed into Caeruleum, and she jumped back, unsure whether it was a familiar or very, very, brave best clan.
The exited gasp from Caeruleum confirmed it was a familiar, probably his.
"Veer!!! I missed you buddy!!" The nocturne quickly wrapped his arms around the ostreatus bat, hugging it happily.
"Axolotl cleared his throat. "To answer Cael's question, yes, you can have welcome apparel. It'll take a minute or two to pick good ones, though." Iris smiled, and ducked her head. "It was Caeruleum's Idea, you really don't have to." The fae flapped his wings, spreading the sweet smell of the leaves he wore around. (It reminded her of the behemoth.) "Don't worry about it. We have a lot of extra stuff back in storage. Anyway, you should meet everyone."
Sandclaw agreed, and she spent the next few hours meeting the clan. She learned more about the clan of the circling serpents in general, like how they rescued and took in most of their members. At the end of her tour, Axolotl asked if she wanted welcome apparel, and Sandclaw agreed. She was led to the hoard of the clan, and picked out a couple of gold bracelets, a tail band with a few citrine jewels tied to it, and a set of gilded wing armor that axolotl assured her they had no need for.
The next few days were spent happily, training, exploring, and gathering supplies with her new friends. The patrols settled her need to fly and explore, and they found a guardian hatchling, who explained that they had ran away from a strict discriminatory clan to find more breeds dragons of different flights.
She was glad she didn't find any clans of that type.
A month later, she felt the urge to travel flaring up again. She said her goodbyes and gave back the apparel, knowing it wouldn't last when she was travelling, and flew back across the sea.

Sandclaw's adventures took her to the Starfall Isles, where she was wandering about, never really staying in one place for long. It was a beautiful land with interesting wildlife (or however you'd like to describe the... odd creatures within the arcane territory), one she's certainly been two before, but now she found herself lost, wandering about in areas she's never seen.
It was isolated here. The last time she saw another dragon must have been days ago. So it was certainly a surprise to her when a a brightly colored Banescale came barreling towards her at about the speed of sound.
"Why hello!" The banescale crowed in a loud, rough but clear voice. "Finally something to spice up the day! My shifts have just been so DRY lately, I feel like every other scout has been bringing in everyone lately, and it's just not fair!"
The banescale's energy made Sandclaw's head spin, not that it was entirely unwelcome. After not having seen anyone else for some time, it was extremely refreshing and she could feel himself getting hyped just from the energy she was met with.
"Hi!" She said. "I'm glad to see someone. Who are you?"
"Firestarter!" She said proudly, and Sandclaw could really see where the name came from, from the banescale's fiery personality to her brightly colored scales. "Named by Miss Eden herself, of course."
"Miss Eden?"
"Our wonderful clan leader! She's so cool. Actually, you're going to meet her. My job as a scout is to find any wandering dragons and being bring them to the clan! Miss Eden will be happy to meet you, if you'd like to come."
"Oh, yes, please!" After wandering, it'd be nice to find another clan to stay with, especially if all of them are as friendly as Firestarter.
"Then follow me!"

Firestarter brought Sandclaw quite some way, before they finally came across the clan. Small buildings nestled into the base of the mountain range, dragons of all shapes and sizes milling about.
They landed in the village, and heads turned the moment they touched down. Sandclaw could feel all the eyes on her and Firestarter led her to a large tent, practically bounding.

Firestarter pulled open one of the flaps of the tent and motioned Sandclaw to step in with her other wing. She did so, and was met by a trio of dragons- A large purple and black pearlcatcher and a stunning orange wildclaw, both with armor on. Standing between them was the dragon Sandclaw immediately knew must be Eden- a very dignified looking bogsneak with fantastic butterfly-like wings and a large curling pair of horns.
"Oh, someone new!" The orange wildclaw said, with a kind smile. The pearlcatcher said nothing, staring at her with what could only be called a glower.
"Ah, I see Firestarter brought you in," Eden said. Beside Sandclaw, Firestarter preened slightly. "Welcome. I'm Eden, this is Cloudberry, and this is my mate, Spades." She motioned to the wildclaw and the pearlcatcher in turn. Cloudberry gave Sandclaw a nod and Spades stood of taller. "Tell me about yourself.
So Sandclaw did. She detailed her home, her travels, where she's been and the many dragons she's seen and met.
"I see," Eden said. "And so I take it you won't stay here long?"
"Probably not," Sandclaw answered.
"We're happy to have you here all the same. I'll send you to Hestia, I'm sure she has some extra room in her inn."
"Thank you."

Firestarter took Sandclaw to a decently sized, nice-looking building, where they were greeted by a lovely, friendly pearlcatcher.
"Of course I have room!" She said. "I'm always happy to have visitors. Let me show you to your room."
Sandclaw stayed in this clan for several weeks, taking in the sights, meeting many new dragons. She took her place easily, she found.
She spent time in Ashlina’s cozy bakery, tasting the odd but delicious amalgam of shadow and arcane treats. She took a look around the clan’s large, beautiful library, watched over by calm but easily distracted Sunflower, who was more than happy to discuss the secrets the library held and the history of this strange, hidden away clan.
She talked to Limelight and Solarflare, best friends but so different, Limelight’s shy nature versus Solarflare’s bright and fiery personality. They told her about Adobe and her crew, brave dragons from their clan who took to adventuring in the stars.
She watched Void's shows, his incredible shows of stage magic with his bright voice, capturing the attention of every dragon in the audience. She received a tour of the farm from Olive, she got lovely new clothes from Scorchmark.
It was a wonderful time here, in Eden's clan, but eventually it was time for her to leave. That itch for travel and adventure returned again, and so she told Eden it was time for her to leave. The kind dragons she had met bid her farewell, and she set off once again, away from this mysterious but welcoming clan.

69151182_350.png From here, she journeyed to Flotsam Town, bemoaning how she could not visit an underwater lair - and here she met a friendly Water dragon named pîsimoyâpîs and their Maren friend, who gifted to her a pendant to grant her water-breathing and protection from the crushing pressure of the deep. She dove deep as the Maren guided her, coming to a vast underwater, underground ruin populated by one of the oldest dragon clans in the world. Sandclaw learned of their ways, and spent an uncertain amount of time here; time was difficult to track where the sun didn't shine, and she found herself greatly enjoying the companionship and company of Raithwall, another Imperial dragon, soon bearing a clutch by him. She bore three children named Parthenope, Ligeia, and Leucosia, and, knowing that they were in good hands, continued on to the next leg of her journey...

Sandclaw was stumbling across the parched plains of Dragonhome when she suddenly, abruptly collapsed. She awoke in a Hospital, next to hatchlings and their caretakers. The Imperial was stunned, and looked around, before coming face to face with The Pyrithian King, Etienne . He smiled cheerfully at her. “Welcome, traveler. We’ve heard many things about you. While you’re here at Pyrithia, you will be put through multiple training sessions to toughen you up. The next time you fly through a heat wave, you won’t pass out.”

Sandclaw stared up at the Wildclaw. “I’m sorry, what!?” “Yes, you heard me. Every dragon here will go through training sessions, and you’ll be going with Sigurros. We hope you enjoy your stay!” And with that, he left a bewildered and aghast Sandclaw staring at the exit he had just vanished through.

Five minutes later, Sandclaw found herself standing in front of a tall, imposing Gaoler with a booming voice. “Welcome to Training Session 4A. Today, we will be journeying into the Kelp Beds to meet up with Training Group 4C’s leader, Azurine. Then, we will train for exactly five hours, and return,”declared the Gaoler. Sandclaw groaned at the prospect.

After a few days, Sigurros finally deemed her strong enough and sent her packing. She’d miss the Imperial, and so sent a parting gift.

Sandclaw found herself wandering the daykissed realm of the Sunbeam Ruins when a skydancer dragon clad in red nearly crashed into her. Before she could respond, he burst into speech.
“Oh, sorry! I didn’t see you there - I’ve been flying all over Sornieth visiting other clans! You look like you’re a traveler too - why don’t you come visit us? Come on, follow me! I’ll show you around! My name’s Latalys, by the way!”

Sandclaw, curious, decided to follow the excited skydancer. He led her to a large pillar on the Mirrorlight Promenade, where several fae roosts had been spun, and called up to a dragon perched upon the top of the beam. The small dragon flew down to meet the newcomer.

“Hello, I see you met Latalys already. I am Venera. Do you have a name?”

“I’m Sandclaw!”

“Welcome to the clan, Sandclaw. Latalys, would you show her around?”

The skydancer leapt into the air at once. “Sure! Come with me, Sandclaw!”

Latalys dragged showed the imperial all around the clan and introduced her to everyone he could. Then he flew her around the Mirrorlight Promenade, pointing out his favorite places to hunt insects and the best spots to find air currents.

At last, night fell, and Sandclaw settled down in a makeshift bed created for her during her exploration with Latalys. Exhausted from following her companion around, she quickly drifted off into sleep.

When she awoke the next morning, she found a Harlequin Stagwing tucked into her side, sleeping soundly. Venera sat a few feet away, curled up on a pillow and flicking through a large, weathered tome. The imperial yawned and flexed her wings out, knocking off the blanket that had been draped over her. The stagwing chirped indignantly before rolling over and beginning to snore quietly. Venera glanced up from her book and began to speak.
“Good morning, Sandclaw. Did you sleep well?”
“Pretty well! …have you been watching me this entire time?”
“No. I only came in here to deliver this.”
Venera gestured with one wing to a large pack nearby her.
Seraph had this put together for you. Latalys will be waiting to escort you out.”
With that, the fae dragon gathered up her documents and flitted out of the room.

After eating breakfast with the rest of the clan, it was finally time for Sandclaw to continue her journey. She picked up the pack Venera had given to her and climbed out onto a walkway on the Mirrorlight Promenade, where Latalys waited for her.
“Hi, Sandclaw! Did you sleep well? Venera had a bed made for you! What did you eat for breakfast? I had some really good cicadas! Anyway, you’re leaving now, right? Then let’s go!”
The young skydancer launched into the air and began climbing. Sandclaw was about to do the same when she heard her name being called. “Wait, Sandclaw!”
She turned back to see Venera flying up towards her with a round, flat stone clutched between her forepaws. She flew to the pack draped over the imperial’s shoulders and quickly tucked the large item inside.
“This is a Traveler’s Runestone. I figured you might need it. Good luck out there, and you’re welcome to rest here whenever you wish.”
With that parting message, Venera quickly moved to the top of a column, where she watched Sandclaw give one final nod before spreading her wings and leaping into the bright sky.
