Biography
Shall we play a game?
FoulPlay loves playing poker with the visitors of Clan Camelcase. Her bets start out small at first- a handful of treasure, one or two gems, perhaps some apparel. As the game continues, the stakes begin to get higher and higher. Oddly enough, it often seems that luck is on FoulPlay's side as she always wins her paw in these games. At last, she will bet her opponents on their freedom to leave. The gamblers who assume that they can win her game is sorely mistaken- most end up as bait to eventually be sacrificed to the lady or prisoners to the clan while FoulPlay continues to shuffle her cards. After all, this is a Shadow clan: there is no such thing as too much deceit in a game.
After what felt like an eternity of disguise, FoulPlay has found it safe enough to shed her Imperial guise to reveal the Nocturne beneath. This change has brought nothing short of utter delight from the clan of tricksters, surprised and excited from being fooled for so long. She raised PhantomForce alone, and while the gambler remains level-headed and chillingly perceptive, it is undeniable that she is fiercely protective of her adoptive daughter, even after she sent her away when Phan's Shade proved too difficult to control. Her pet is Gambit, which she delights by causing the younger Imperial distress and confusion over her tricks. In recent times, she also acquired the princess Mhairi of Macbelle, who was audacious enough to steal from her and was transformed by her abilities. She delights in their imprisonment, but truly, she knows that they would never be accepted anywhere else.
