B I O G R A P H Y
Foxfire is a young dragon from the Shifting Expanse who was originally sent to join the Stormcatcher's Exalted. However, at the urging of one of her siblings who was with her, she decided at the last moment to not gather with the others at the base of Tempest Tower. However, feeling that her purpose in life had passed, she wandered about the lightning farms in search of work. She was found by an old alchemist looking for young, able minds and was fortunately able to keep up with his work. Though she learned the craft well, however, she was not naturally gifted in it and spent many long days toiling over her materials. Born, too, with a weak voice and used to following the booming orders of others, she rarely spoke during the course of her studies.
As she was but a hatchling when she was sent away from home, Foxfire grew up in this old alchemist's cave, ignorant of typical lightning dragon pursuits - meaning anything to do with technology. Lightning, however, was something that she became reliant upon. She found that the magic, when it came to her, was more useful in purging impurities and binding materials together far more than anything else. That she has never had an accident when working with it could be said to be either the result of great skill or perhaps simply good luck. When the old dragon at last sent her away to take his last flight through Carrion Canyon, Foxfire, finding herself lacking any other meaningful connection, decided to simply continue northwards into the Sunbeam Ruins. The expanse had never been a comfortable place her with its loudness so she sought a more quiet sort of order among the Light dragons.
