Ghostlight was the youngest of three children but also the first to leave home. He was, for a Light dragon, perhaps embarrassingly interested in Shadow magic and the mysterious happenings of the Tangled Wood. His days were spent disappearing into the Hewn City, the closest equivalent to the Tangled Wood that there could be found in Light Territory. Each time, he returned quieter and calmer, refusing to answer questions of what he had found. His magic became strange, a beacon for Shadow dragons creeping through the ruins while repulsing his fellow Light dragons. All the time, he remained perfectly cordial albeit mute. Those who knew him feared more each time he returned.

One day, Ghostlight came upon the epiphany that he need not return. Setting forth into the Hewn City for the last time, he promptly vanished from the lives of all who knew him in order to live among the spirits that dwelt there.
