The list of things that Eloise has sold or traded or bartered away in her lifetime is reaching truly impressive lengths and helps her to uphold her reputation as a trustworthy merchant at the markets and trading hubs surrounding the Tangled Wood. At least...as trustworthy as one can be in her particular type of trading. Some say that the first thing that Eloise ever sold was her soul, in exchange for deity-given powers of persuasion and negotiation. It's nothing more than a silly rumor (probably), but it certainly boosts Eloise's reputation.

Eloise is one of Chisai's oldest friends and Celestus's mate. She is one of the higher-ups at the Silent Crow, in charge of overseeing the shipments of goods and hauls of artifacts and oddities. She sees to the cataloging and reselling and manages sales and profits. The acquisitions operatives report to Eloise and Eloise reports directly to Chisai. Eloise is in charge of brokering and negotiating deals with buyers and like-minded organizations on most levels. When a deal or case is especially crucial, she joins Copernicus at the negotiation table.

No one of Eloise's position and prominence escapes rumor and speculation completely. There have been many theories about her goggles and her consistent refusal to take them off in public. Regardless of time of day or climate or location, her goggles stay on. She doesn't take questions kindly, so most dragons won't even try to ask. Eloise remains an enigma.
