Grennich is heavily invested and fairly well-versed in near all areas of natural science, but has a particularly keen interest in the workings of the shade. It was through some connections tied to the organization Siore is from that she finds herself among the small team of researchers in this small clan. She made fast friends with Violette and Fain, and frequently helps the two of them with the elaborate pranks they subject SaiRen to when the team isn't frantically trying to study/research/test/keep something from eating everyone. She is well liked by most members of the clan and uses her wide expertise to help with any question or odd job they have to offer, so long as they provide something in return.

Grennich has very few reservations in anything she does, and is sometimes far too eager to try new ideas. She has made many... questionable... decisions over her time as head researcher, but so far none of them have resulted in any irreparable damage. So far. You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette, she'll have you know. And she is dead set on making that omelette.




Grennich seems like the type of scientist who would do the insane, deadly sort of science. Self experimentation, mixing dangerous chemicals, trying to get samples from still living shade monsters. newton fr pacific rim

Also like the type of dragon who would be presented with an option against their personal philosophy, strongly disagree, proceed to dwell on their choice all night, then run off first thing in the morning to correct their mistake.sorta like bilbo baggins

• Get her started on the Shade, and you'll most likely have her rambling until she gets hungry or the Pillar collapses, no in-betweens. She's absolutely bonkers over the subject, but depending this her love of natural science will always win. But what's more fun? Scaring new dragons with stories of the Shade or talking heir ears off about how plants can grow in different biomes?... Actually-
  
• She's affectionately called Gren by friends, which some young hatchling interpreted as "Fern" for some reason, so now some have come to call her Fern as well. She doesn't seem to mind at all.
  
• Being near sighted isn't the best trait for a dragon, but with her glasses she really doesn't care. Gren often sticks flowers and other such little plants into the corners of her glasses to "keep hem safe for now" as she puts it. More often than not she forgets they're there and goes straight to bed with flowers tumbling down her face.
  
• She's always smelling of something natural or butterscotch. No one's quite sure why, but it makes Hatchlings love spending time around her and sticking her faces into her wings.
