Violette VEHEMENT | PRIDEFUL | RESOURCEFUL | BOLD | AMIABLE Mechanic/Engineer

A hot-tempered mechanic who moved from the water flight in the hopes their skills would be more useful here on dry land. They harbor a strong dislike for Lightning flight dragons based on stereotypes of their attitudes towards non-electrically-assisted mechanics and are constantly butting heads with SaiRen due to his near conformity to said stereotypes.

Fain gets smacked pretty often for insisting the two of them are perfect for each other.

Violette has quite the thrill-seeking streak, evidenced by their decision to try and find work in the Hewn City, of all places. They are the pranking master of the clan and spend most of their working hours building contraptions for their own amusement instead of doing the work they were assigned. This tends to land them in trouble with Siore quite often. They have only managed to keep their job due to their sheer mechanical expertise and ability to get work done quickly once they're actually focused.

Alongside SaiRen and Fain, they were responsible for the development of the containment units the research team uses to confine and observe shade specimens. Thanks to these units the team is no longer required to observe larger subjects out in the field, and as a result SABRI's work has begun to progress much more rapidly.





Viollette is not above pranking their rival SaiRen with intricate mechanical and clockwork devices and booby traps (which doesn't help his attitude towards this particular mechanic or all of them in general). That one time they set a wire over the threshold to his lair connected to a jar of honey and a basket o feathers... Yes, boring classic, but so worth it!


Viollette absolutely loves to play instruments, and the lower the better. They love how the keys interlock, the springs work in harmony and the way that sound moves through them, and can often be found tinkering with other dragon's broken ones in their spare time.



Sometimes Viollette makes poorly designed machines just for the sake of having them blow up just to scare the bejeesus out of whoever happened to pass their workshop at the time, and they once made a robot that just sits around and screams.
