Revolution Lore The historical revolt in my clan told my different perspectives of those involved. Some experiences may overlap, but each dragon perceives and feels in unique ways. |
Arjibi the Queen Though the twin king and queen ruled the lair for a time, as the prodigy king grew even stronger, he honed his Aura to control elements. Possibly mad with power, the king took full control, though the clan had once been a matriarchy, so the clan was shell-shocked when queen Arjibi was forced out. The king took a new queen as Arjibi fell in grace and rank.

Hydra the King Hydra had resigned to living in shame, located in the deepest part of the cave, living with nothing and with nothing to live for. He had his suspicions that he was only kept around for display – for visitors to look at and see that the clan "proudly" keeps around its founding progenitor. If only outsiders knew the truth, about the injustices brought on him and Arjibi.

Chessa the Gamemaster The original founders had been banished to the depths of the cave as a foreign King and Queen took power, causing a great depression in morale and resources. The whole lair was on the brink of collapse: many dragons had no jobs, the only paltry income came from exaltation of young and dragons seemed to hibernate until it was time to produce eggs for profit.

Yaal the 【REDACTED】 After some threatening by the Fae who was apparently the king of the lair, Yaal was apprehended by the lair's guards. He wondered what exactly had happened to him, how he ended up in this situation, as he knelt down in the middle of cavern with his head almost touching the floor. He was bowing down to the Fae who was back on his throne as the guards kept Yaal in place, and more importantly, were holding his pearl hostage. He was being forced to state his purpose.

Gilded the Treasurer Why not just leave? He asked himself that question many times in the beginning, but he always came back to the feeling of this clan being where he was meant to be. He knew that it looked foolish of him, but perhaps liberation would come, and clan would flourish. There was just something about being amongst the treasure - meager as it was - that kept Gilded preoccupied in dark times. If he didn't think about it, it wouldn't feel as bad as it was.

Contagia the Alchemist Almost never at home, she watched her current brew and wondered what the rebels were doing. Contagia imagined that she wasn't as passionate as the others about this coup, but a part of her still hoped that they would succeed. Everyone had been working so hard, and she found herself rooting for them, without even realizing that she was an important part of the group.

Bananabread the Matron of War Though Bananabread loyally and valiantly served the clan as the military leader, she couldn't help but agree with the sentiment that the original queen and king deserved the power. Over time, Bananabread had become very intimidating, aloof, and generally unapproachable - through no fault of her own, rather, it was her great power in battle that kept others at bay.

Circusmonster the Warrior Everything Circusmonster had done had been meaningless to a cruel and undeserving false king, and he could feel the disrespect and dishonor strike through him like lightning, causing him to recoil in horror. He refused to believe that the Arcanist would be proud of how the Crystal Nook had become, and he was foolish to have been loyally serving a false monarchy while the rest of his clan suffered.

Skywinder the Knight What on Sornieth would compel Skywinder to join such a frightening place? He wondered that, himself, as Bananabread showed him to his new quarters. Perhaps if he proved himself, he would be alright. Perhaps if he did something noble and worthy, he would not feel the king's implied wrath. He looked at his fellow nocturne and thought that, perhaps things wouldn't always be so terrible.

Aristheus the Exalt Expert He couldn't help but wonder where the original founders were, as clearly these Shadow rulers were not them, but coming in close contact with the king's deadly soul on a daily basis kept Aristheus from stepping out of line. That is, until he was approached by rebels who had the intention of throwing the lair into absolute chaos.

Fairytoes the Mystic Scribe An unexpectedly foreboding premonition came to Fairytoes in the middle of the night. A vivid dream: an egg from another land, a feeling of increasing dread as it started to hatch, before revealing a horribly familiar face. She woke panicked and in a cold sweat, and quickly jostled Circusmonster awake, who was next to her. He could barely see her in the dark, but he could still make out her terror.

Renaissance Lore Stories that detail the state of the clan after the revolution. |
Starlight the Princess The magic irradiating from this ground zero was a feeling strong enough to nearly bring Starlight to her knees. The gigantic and magnificent Observatory stood tallest, its Eye of Many Lenses scraping the sky, and at its base were the hundreds of Arcane embassies which looked like shacks in comparison to the divine construction which housed the Arcanist Himself.

Dingy the Prince and Innkeeper The Crystal Nook's nesting grounds looked as though it had fallen into disrepair, as he picked the weeds growing among the tall grass. After a while, he had restored the little patches of grass which were lovingly hugged and protected by pink crystal. ... He looked at the empty nests and envisioned the signature purple and floating Arcane eggs; the three nests could all be full - they could all have five eggs each, if dragons would just come to the nesting grounds.

Personal Lore Individual lore for dragons not involved in the revolution; there is greater focus on the backstories and events leading up to the joining of my clan. |
Apollo He stood there as frozen as everything around him, eyes locked on the globe, breathing harder as the powerful feeling possessed him. "Aura!" he suddenly exclaimed, grabbing the globe by the observatory. Upon making contact, Apollo and the globe vanished from sight, and time resumed. The smoke dissipated, and half burnt papers fluttered in the commotion as Apollo's frightened clanmates rushed into the room. The archivist had disappeared.

Lumi The massive subtropical tree had been decorated from trunk to treetop by every Nature clan, and huge hoards of treasure and toys lay at the base. In the warm jungle on the dark night, the Behemoth was covered in little lights, which shone on the twinkling ornaments scattered in between. The sight and sound of the community's decorations and all the clans singing songs of the season, was one of Lumi's first memories: the magic of which was treasured.
