Crowley

As the King of Hell, it's no shock that Crowley is one with few companions. He is too intimidating and also too focused on his job to make a proper mate. He is very sure of himself and thus can also come across as pious or on a high horse.
He has been among the other demon dragons of the lair for a long time now and has gotten used to them, as they've gotten used to him. However, he and Meg have never been friendly towards each other and even after years in the same clan, they still consider each other enemies and keep their distance. Non-demon dragons regard him as one of the main demon dragons and thus keep their distance. He doesn't mind this. He has had a couple mates now but has never felt a real connection to anyone.

He first mated with Lilith, an Ice Wildclaw that was very feminine and gentle-looking but truly very cruel and frightening. Of course, he wasn't afraid of her. However, he never got attached to her either. They eventually separated as friends. His second mate was a Plague Wildclaw then known as Crossroads. She now goes by the name Renna. They never nested together and weren't mates for very long. He hasn't seemed to even notice her absence. He has become quite accustomed to being single and has not complained about it once. A couple times he has mated with fellow demon dragon, Ruby, but he does not consider her his mate. After all, she is the longtime mate of Samhain and considers herself romantically monogamous. Plus, Crowley wouldn't want to be mates with her. He sees her as his closest friend...the closest thing to a friend. They don't talk much but they seem to simply understand each other.

A longtime passed in Crowley's life before he found a dragon who truly caught his eye. He felt attached the moment he saw her and could not shake the feeling: Persephone. She was a Pearlcatcher. He told himself her species was lower than his and he shouldn't be interested, but her personality (and her looks of course) attracted him regardless. He thus decided to court her and she took to it well. She welcomed his advances but also preferred to be very independent and stand on her own. He liked that. After a bit of courting and getting to know one another, the two eventually came out to the rest of the clan as mates. The clan accepted it immediately since they saw the change in Crowley's disposition. They knew she was someone he actually acknowledged as a mate.
