Osiris Clan Treasurer Status: Undead Boastful | Luxurious | Generous | Eccentric | Cheerful Grimoire excavated Osiris when she first began building her Workshop. The slaves accidentally tunneled into his tomb while they were constructing new passageways. Grimoire and her acolytes uncovered a grave filled wall-to-wall with treasure, gems, and mysterious artifacts. In the center of it all lay a jeweled sarcophagus. Based on the inscriptions, Grimoire and her acolytes deduced that they had found the resting place of a once-great king. This king, whoever he was, had ruled vast swathes of Wasteland territory like a warlord. He had conquered thousands and secured their riches for himself. Grimoire, eager to have such a capable general under her command, cast a spell to raise the mummy. And thus Osiris was "reborn." Grimoire would be disappointed, though. Osiris was not the great ruler that she had envisioned. Her acolytes had translated the hieroglyphics wrong. Osiris was not the king in the inscription, but rather his gentle and eccentric son. Rather than being a warlord, Osiris was a peaceful and even cheerful zombie. But what he lacked in strength, he made up for in intelligence. He displayed an excellent aptitude for economics and finance. Instead of a new general, Grimoire found a clan treasurer. Osiris boasts an immense personal hoard, which he graciously donates to the Workshop. He is a collector of rare and often cursed relics. Deep beneath the Necromancer's workshop, Osiris has constructed a strange museum to hold all of his bizarre treasures. If an object is cursed, haunted, or just plain unlucky, odds are that Osiris will possess it - or want to possess it. He relies on Grimoire's extensive knowledge of curses and haunted objects in order to enhance his collection. He happily funds her experiments so long as he can take souvenirs every now and then. Osiris enjoys the company of Asmodeus, his fellow nobleman. However, Osiris would not consider him a friend, since he finds Asmodeus's scheming distasteful. He also has a special fascination with the Gravedigger, whom he believes to be some sort of shaman or spiritualist. |
