Mercury's faithful apprentice, a wildclaw with a memory as sharp as any tundra or snapper dragon's. But wit was not the only thing Sun was blessed with. His charm and beauty are the envy of fellow clanmates and travelers alike. It is often said that he and his mate, Venus, make the clan's most perfect pair.

Draped in golden silks and jewels, Sun is often mistaken by guests as one of the dancer May's apprentices. And while May has tried to persuade him to join her pupils, Sun has his heart set on tending to the clan's trove of knowledge alongside Mercury.

With his golden pelt and wings, it is easy to mistake Sun for a light dragon at a distance. But his shadow magic runs deep and strong. The library may be closely guarded, but within the rows and rows of tomes, the shadows are always watching...
