Bespoke to broken, this interwoven tapestry of tragedy

One of the oldest and most respected members of Clan Willowbreeze. In troubled times, it is Mercury's judgement that the rest of the council defers to. Hyperion's most trusted friend and confidant. It could be said that Mercury is the true center of the clan, but leadership never felt right to her. She much prefers to tend to her charge, the vast collection of the clan's books and knowledge.

Mercury's library is the most precious and valuable building in the entire village. It is also the most closely guarded, although the guards often tell one another that not even travelers would dare steal the scrolls under Mercury's watchful eye. The library's organization is impeccable, full of legends and lore, treaties and alliances. Every single map the clan has ever made is stored in the archives.

Mercury may guard her charge closely, but all are welcome to the precious knowledge she collects. Hatchlings gather close, listening with excitement to the stories she knows by heart. Young warriors spend hours studying strategy with her gentle instruction. Clan Willowbreeze's beastclan allies are a common sight in the library as well, sharing their knowledge and fables with Mercury and learning of their allies' history in turn.

Kimaru is less trusting. He often enjoys playing tricks on travelers he deems especially suspicious (whish is almost all of them).

Mercury has not been to the Sea of a Thousand Currents in years, and her prophetic skills have long grown rusty with disuse. But every now and then, during especially hazardous days of the storm seasons, she leaves the sanctuary in the protection of her young apprentice and Kimaru. Mercury stands in the heart of the summer storms, feeling the wind and rain upon her wings, and feels for even the slightest hint of her old deity's voice.
