NEIRIN of the Rowantree Clan

RELATIONS

Spector: His beloved mate, saved from a frigid night and the claws of death.

Inlet: A close friend of his who helped begin the Clan.

Ascensia: Another close friend, the Clan Founder.

HISTORY

~Please note that I am redoing my clan's lore at the moment. This is out of date! But the generalized idea remains the same, so I'm leaving this up until I get around to doing individual bios.~

Neirin was a freelance bounty hunter and soldier before he became a member of the Rowantree Clan. Born to a family of soldiers, he was raised upon principals of honor and righteousness, of bravery and courage and love for all, and he was taught that defending the weak and protecting the innocent was the highest honor and greatest job one could ever have. Yet he was never called by the Gladekeeper nor by any other deity to do their bidding, and no army he joined seemed to uphold the rules of honor and love he had been taught. So rather than go against he principles, he struck out on his own to hunt down criminals and wrongdoers and bring them to justice. He did so for many years, building a reputation for himself as a fearsome angel of justice.

Neirin met Arcacia on his journeys. She was a young duelist facing off against two much larger, much meaner Beastclanners when he first came across her, fighting for her life against the two bullies. It was obvious she was outmatched, but her ferocity and courage amazed him, and he intervened both with the intentions to stop the bullies and to learn more about this obviously bright Serthis. She gladly thanked him for his help, though warily. He asked her if she would like some help on her journeys, and she agreed to travel with him for a while. Eventually the two became close friends, and finally she requested to become his familiar. He gladly agreed and the two have been inseparable since.
