History
After an uneventful childhood, Midas had Xerces take him to a faraway plane, and let him live there, to earn his life as it were. Xerces reluctantly allowed it, and left him for 50 years. While there, Midas became the ‘warrior prince’, a freedom fighter who founded a nation. He’s reluctant to speak much of what happened on the faraway plane, but the rumor is he left a family behind when he returned to Clan Alys. The only thing he did bring was his armor.

Within the clan, Midas is known as a capable, if reluctant warrior. He is also the main, and only, dragon keeping track of the hoard and vault. During his time away, he claims he had to learn how to manage finances. Given how well he’s done, the clan has unanimously decided to let him continue.

Midas has taken care of both government and tactics classes. His experiences on the faraway plane have given him valuable lessons for him to impart on his students. Midas is one of the most serious teachers, allowing for little rule-breaking or tom-foolery in his classrooms. Many students learn much from Midas, despite any misgivings they may have about being forced to be serious for the entire class period.

Midas has no life mate, and isn’t really looking for one.
