history with the love club clan:
leader of a few rogue groups after a harsh upbringing (he managed to survive in the scarred wasteland alone after being orphaned as a hatchling by making a pact with DEATH to kill innocent and unsuspecting dragons for her)
murdered marine (male progen) and his daughter, forcing opalrose (female progen) and their remaining child to retreat to the safety of the arcanist's observatory, leaving behind the rest of the small clan (aja, dusk, jadus, comet, dawn, estella, cosmo, ember) to fend for themselves
as time passed he met his murder quota with DEATH and no longer had to kill for her so he spent his days lavishing himself with riches from the clans he stole from
one day a necromancer managed to revive marine successfully (im unsure whom did it and why)
marine travels sorneith looking for his clan hoping to find his mate
DEATH is extremely angry about this and comes to sithos and demands him to kill marine again. sithos is like nah you cant tell me what to do anymore but DEATH, being chaotic evil af kills his entire group and threatens to take his life unless he returns marine's soul to him.
DEATH believes the only way sithos will manage to kill him or even get to him will have to be through producing a "secret weapon" with her. they go to the outskirts of the sundial ruins and death gives him 5 entire eggs and disappears with the instruction that only one hatchling will posses a gift that can aid him, and he has to sacrifice the other four to the lightweaver in order for the one child's powers to fully manifest. after they hatch he raises them for awhile before his daughter, laelynn, starts developing amazing light-magic, and this paired with her being half-blind is enough to convince sithos that she's the secret weapon he needs. so like one day he takes his kids out to hunt but leaves laelynn behind and tells her to protect the den (shes super bad at hunting anyways bc shes half blind so she doesnt put up a fight) and as soon as theyre like really far away from the den sithos murders all of the kids. despite being an evil a hole its extremely upsetting for him because his children were the closest thing to an actual family he ever had so he goes through the trouble to bury them respectfully and stays the night weeping on their graves and killing anything that comes close to them
he comes home visibly distressed and tells laelynn that a pack of wolves (or smth) murdered her siblings and he couldn't fight them off himself or whatever. he tells her that they have to relocate because the wolves might be following him or something but really this is phase two in DEATH's plan, which is to gain visual of the enemy (the love club) to prepare to infiltrate them when laelynn becomes an adult
they live on the very outskirts of the love club territory inside of a small cave that sithos attempts to camouflage to prevent any patrols/scavengers from poking their noses in there.
