Lightning: On her trip to the Lightning flight, Moss fought with two other dragons in the Coliseum and bested many enemies in combat. She also found love in a Lightning fae, but when she left, she knew it was for the best. With this, she moved on to her next destination.
Water: Moss quickly got along with the matron of the lair, Smaug. When she learned of the supposed missing deity she quickly volunteered to help in any way she could. With her amazing prowess in fighting, and sharp wits she was powerful in combat and defeated many foes. It was after a while that participated in a whirl wind relationship with an imperial Dragon named it was over faster than began and it was never destined to go anywhere. After Moss helped in every way she could she knew that it was her time to leave and go to her next adventure.
Earth: Moss first came to the Earth realm at the news of a new dragon breed emerging from deep within the Earth clan's caverns and decided that is where she must visit next. After all what better way to learn about the new dragon kin than to visit the land they were created from. During her visit she came across a clan that invited her to stay with them for a short while. They were equally curious about this new discovery and welcomed her with open wings to join in their discovery quest. After two weeks with this clan, when she'd learned all she could she was eager to fly home and share her findings with her own clan. As she was getting ready to leave, the clans leaders, Husbando and Waifu, gave her a parting gift; It was the very first Obelisk dragon Moss met on her journey Honeysuckle! Delighted to have a companion for the journey home Moss told Honeysuckle all about their home and the new family he would soon meet.
Arcane: Moss was able to shadow Victoria, the clan’s Arcane representative, as she went about her duties. Victoria even took Moss to the Dressing Room so that Moss could look like an Arcane rep, too! The two of them had to deliver new runestones to mages in the Astrolodome and return a borrowed tome to the Tourmaline Archives. They took the scenic route, flying high above the Arcane flight’s towering crystal spires. It's an exhilarating view for any visitor. At the Tourmaline Archives, Moss got some help with formatting her bio. She also attended a few astronomy lectures and the scholars were all too happy to share the bewildering topics of their research with her. It was very complicated, but they were so enthusiastic about their ley lines and cosmic energy signatures that she couldn't help but get excited as well! She took pages of notes to share with the rest of her clan. Moss will be welcomed with open arms if she ever wants to visit the Arcane flight again!

Plague: She'd been told, once, that there was no beauty to be found in the great, barren expanse of the Scarred Wasteland. She couldn't recall who it was who had told her this, but they had been wrong; perhaps there was no natural beauty, but there was cultivated beauty. Amidst Nocturne's lair, she was able to find what the rot kept hidden in its festering lands: dragons, most of whom were beautiful and powerful, secluded away to be kept safe from the corrupting virulence of their domain. Touring performers, a poet, and a gilded prince were among the finest she'd seen. Her stay was brief, but her impression of them all was long lasting.
Wind: Going from the scarred lands of Plague to the verdant green fields of Wind was perhaps the greatest shock of Moss's life. How the two lands could share a border was quite the mystery! While the dragons of Plague flight were wary of newcomers, the dragons at Singer's Brook showed no hesitation in welcoming Moss into their fold. They were an eclectic bunch: Former warriors turned peacekeepers, entertainers with a shrouded past, farmers who seemed more companion to their familiar than master. During her days with the clan, Moss brewed the finest teas, baked the sweetest pastries, and plucked the crispest apples. But perhaps her fondest companion was the bookish young Reese. Reese loved history and she eagerly shared her knowledge with Moss, who was equally intent upon the subject. One day while exploring the wilds of the Windswept Plateau, Moss and Reese stumbled upon a strange cavern which housed the remnants of an ancient, frozen society. Giddy as schoolboys, the two dragons meticulously excavated the new site, eager to record such valuable additions to Sornieth's lore. By the time Moss and Reese finished their work, they had become lifelong friends. When Moss eventually decided to continue her journey, Reese encouraged her to visit Arlo at the Aergate to share their findings. She then gifted the Guardian a bracelet made with two small, polished stones from the site to symbolize their friendship.
On her last day with the Clan at Singer's Brook, Moss witnessed the most wonderful thing: two strange young dragons arrived at the clan, calling themselves the guardians of nature. They explained that they were seeking knowledge of life outside of Nature flight and hoped to make their homes here. Knowing that these newcomers would lessen the sadness of her departure, Moss chose that time to continue her journey.

Shadow:
After passing through Flotsam Town, Moss decided to embark into the land of shadows. However, the sable forest, only illuminated by the soft cyan glow of mushrooms quickly proved harder to navigate than imagined. In short, Moss was lost. But that didn't stop her sense of curiosity as she ventured further into the unknown. Yet, she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. She was quick to dismiss it... perhaps this forest had a soul?

Soon, she became surrounded by trees so thick, when she hugged them even her wings couldn't touch. With time, came wisdom, and she couldn't help but wonder what secrets this forest held. She paused when out of the corner of her eye she saw a light. It was a soft blue, yet transparent? It made her heart ache as it reminded her of the clear waters in Smaug's clan. Of him... She held a claw out, the light circling her hand playfully before gently resting in her palm. She was mesmerized with it, almost as if in a trance before the orb floated between two trees, only to stop as if it was waiting for her.

She nodded, a forlorn smile appearing on her features before she followed it. Her heart pounded hard in her chest, was she insane following some unknown source of 'magic'? Only one way to find out!

As Moss stepped between the towering trees, her eyes widened with shock. It was as if the old forest was a tunnel into another time, a place where it could be any century and no-one would ever know you'd ever left, not even you. Before her was a lake large enough to accommodate hundreds of imperials and still have space left over. Across the still water's surface reflected the purple and blue galaxy in the open sky above them. Moss stepped forward, dipping her claw in the water just to confirm it wasn't a mirror, the ripples disturbing the water only for a second before remaining cohesive. It was odd, yet beautiful at the same time to see the constellations spread out before her like a map. As if on cue, the orb from earlier floated passed her, joining other orbs spread above the lake. There were so many, all different colors, shapes, sizes. It was if they were fireflies and the lake was there meadow.

"What are they....?" Moss wondered out loud as she watched gloomwillow's and shadow sprites flutter between the orbs, as if inspecting and checking them. She looked along the lake's shore when her eyes caught glimpse of a yellow blur. Another dragon! She opened her mouth to speak but stopped in confusion as the dragon had disappeared. She could of swore--
"Eek!" Moss squeaked out, stumbling backwards as the large eyes of a spiral locked with hers, mere inches from her face. hFwmDqZ.png
"U-Uh Hello friend!" Moss remarked as she regained her footing, feeling some form of relief at seeing it was a fellow light dragon. Perhaps they knew of her clan? "What are you doing out here....?" She questioned, as the spiral inspected her, going as far as lifting up her lips and checking her teeth. They were certainty odd.

"Well, uh, I got lost on my way here. Would you perhaps have directions, preferably to the nearest friendly clan or hotel...?" Moss trailed off as she started at the odd spiral who had taken to sitting up like meerkat, starting at her intently as she talked. They sat in awkward silence for a moment, Moss wondering if this dragon was actually foe. The spiral slowly cocked its head to the side, still just... starting. Moss wondered if the spiral could understand her for a moment, trying to figure out what exactly was happening. Suddenly the spiral shock its head enthusiastically yes causing Moss to jump.

The spiral contorted itself, opening the small bag it carried and shoving its head completely inside. As it dug around inside of the bag, various things began to fall or rather, run out. A ferret,a plethora of buttersnakes , various birds, the only seemingly normal thing appeared to be a glowing green necklace until a stag emerged from it and took off for the woods. Moss wondered exactly how BIG that bag was when suddenly the spiral popped back out. The spirals ears perked straight up as she held a small scroll in her mouth akin to a dog with a bone. She hopped towards Moss, not daring to break eye contact before she plopped the scroll on the ground. She even began to wag her tail like a dog.

"Err....Thank you?" Moss said cautiously, starting back at the spiral while reaching to grab the scroll. Before her claws could reach around the parchment, the ground below them shook.

"RRRRRRRRRRR"

The unknown growl echoed throughout the forest, causing the buttersnakes to fly off while the other animals scurried back to the spiral. The spiral instantly looked in the direction of the growl, worry plastered all over her face, ears forward as if they could gather more information about the mysterious growl.

"Do you know what that was?" Moss asked anxiously before another growl vibrated throughout the forest. Moss stumbled this time, the last thing she recalled was being submerged in the lake before her surroundings turned black.

With a groan, Moss opened her eyes. A quick look around told her that she was sheltered behind an old ruin and the water running nearby indicated she had returned to the shore of Driftwood Drag. She groggily stood up, pondering if that had all been real... The lake, the lights, the sprites, all the untold treasures... The spiral! Where did the weird spiral go?

Moss frantically searched around for her friend? Companion? Foe? Her eyes landed on a small pile of withered roses. With suspicion, she approached it only to jump as a wingless buttersnake popped out of the pile with a soft, "Chaaaaaa!" Upon further investigation of the pile, Moss found the scroll from earlier. She carefully unwrapped it only to have a golden necklace fall from it on the ground. She carefully picked it up, as if on intimation, a small ray of sunshine hit it. A large bird instantly burst from it, circling the guardian before pointing in the direction of light's territory. With a sad sigh, she covered the necklace and the bird disappeared. The spiral had given her a way home and yet, she had no way to thank them.

As for the 'treasure map'? It only contained weird scribbles, many of which were scratched out except for one-- a crude drawing of a cat? Moss rolled her eyes, probably another animal the spiral had in that bag of its. Probably a pet that wondered off or possibly it wanted a cat?

Scooping up the buttersnake, necklace and note for keepsakes, Moss took flight, on her way to new adventure! Hopefully one without weird spirals.

Fire

High upon the northern-most cliff of the Ashfall Wastes, where the Sea of a Thousand Currents and Windswept Plateau converge with the land of fire, exists a hub of dragons in a surprisingly verdant area. Much like with Moss's experience in the Scarred Wasteland, the tales of the homeland of Coatls and Banescales being nothing but ash and molten lava was proven false.

"The ash makes for high nutrient soil. Being this far away from The Great Furnace allows for plants to grow with far less worry of losing them to a stray lava flow."

Moss would be told this by Rawn in response to asking about how it is that the land of fire is so... green.

The coatl chuckled at this. "Don't let this little cliff side piece of paradise fool you. If you head near the volcano or dig down enough, it gets too hot for anyone not of fire birth to stand it."

Moss would spend the next few days getting to know some of the more permanent residents of this group and making conversation with the very many dragons and beastfolk that came and went at all hours. She would come to learn that this ragtag hub used to be located closer to the Great Furnace, but between the uprisings, unprecedented volatility of the land near the volcano, and a variety of other less concerning reasons, it was decided the group would move near the Magma Sanctum. Some dragons were anything but pleased at this decision. Some left. Others went off to make nomadic satellite hubs. Many more just used this place as a regular stop in their near constant travels.

The food was tasty and the company friendly and lively. What more could be wanted?

Moss dressed in the strange heat resistant suit
Just as the annual Frigidfin Expedition celebration was beginning, Moss would be invited on a trip by a small group of professional cave explorers. They would be heading inland and downward into unexplored territory to recover natural riches to sell, trade, or smith into something else. It was a dangerous job and they would be grateful for her combat assistance.

Moss would note that Pompon, Ni, and NOTOUCHIE were not fire dragons. Her question as to how they planned to withstand the heat she had been warned about was answered when she was loaned a strange looking suit that whirred and clicked. She was assured this would keep her cool.

As the exploration team headed south, Moss saw a land in constant change and stagnation at the same time. Cities of metal, being swallowed by pools of golden flames almost as fast as they
are being built vertically. Soot and ash burying abandoned settlements. Farms with plants not seen before. Pools of water in a rainbow of colors that could not be drank from by just any dragon. Dragons and beastfolk cooking over and in smoking holes in the ground. The remains of a battlefield being consumed by a creeping molten goo flowing from the glowing maw in the south.
Even as they headed down into a lava tube, the gems that were harvested made Moss's eyes twinkle with delight. There really was beauty and awe in every corner of Sornieth!

Moss would be gifted one of these gems as the stone on a ring before she would leave for her next adventure.

Nature

Moss eventually found herself in a land of endless greenery. The Viridian Labyrinth was vast and open, but at the same time it was a bit difficult not to lose her way; she had inadvertently wandered into the wilderness of the Shrieking Wilds, and even the gigantic guardian felt small among the trees. However, her saving grace came in the form of a cheerful-looking coatl.

"Howdy! You look a little lost," said the stranger. "That's funny. Usually I'm the one getting lost. But it's okay! I'm heading back to my clan. The name's Sable, you can follow me!"

That was how Moss ended up somewhere much more peaceful, where flowers of every color bloomed brightly and small streams rushed by her feet. Sable thankfully knew the exact direction to get back to her clan, which ended up being near the outskirts of the Everbloom Gardens. When the two of them approached, a small blue fae perched atop a tree, the sentry Paraiba, announced "Sable has arrived, and she has a visitor with her."
OKDb426.png
iucladu.png "A visitor?" Another fae, with branches growing and petals falling around her, flitted up to Moss's head. This was the clan's founder, Citron. "What brings you here, friend?"

Moss explained to Citron about her quest of visiting a lair of every elemental flight, living with them for a short time to gauge what life was like in each land. By the time she was finished, other dragons of different breeds and colors came to the entrance to listen to the conversation. They murmured amongst themselves, before a teal-colored obelisk spoke up. It was the clan's gardener, Ynfry. "You're just in time!" she said with a grin. "Our yearly strawberry crop is just about ready for harvest. You can help us collect them! We'll give you the right gear and everything."
The term "gear" was subjective, as really she had just been given the basic tools as well as an outfit adorned with leaves, branches and flowers. Nevertheless, she enjoyed helping everyone with the harvest, and hauled a significant amount on her wings. All the while, she was told about the lush landscape of the Viridian Labyrinth, and how just about every plant you could think of could thrive. The soil was filled with bolstering energy that ensured every seed would grow to its fullest. The food cultivated here was beyond compare, and it wasn't hard to see why.

When the work was all done, Moss was more than welcome to help herself to the fruits of her labor. She spent the next few days continuing to learn and live among the trees. Though the clan was constantly busy with their farming efforts, things seemed very easygoing and peaceful.

Alas, the guardian eventually felt the call to move on and travel once more; however, the nature clan wouldn't let her leave without a few keepsakes: the gardening hat she'd been given, and a portion of the strawberry harvest saved for her later journeys. Moss knew that no matter where she ended up next, the flavor of the fruits would always remind her of the Viridian Labyrinth and the dragons there who welcomed her.
