The rickety wooden door swings open with a groan, and you stumble quickly inside, slamming it shut behind you. The howls of the freezing tunnel die down as soon as the lock clicks into place and you're engulfed in relieving silence. Taking a moment to catch your breath, you look up.

You're in what appears to be a workshop of sorts, wooden carvings and glass trinkets scattered about the workbenches lining the side walls. Dust particles drift in the musky air, illuminated by the dull sunlight filtering in through a few circular glass windows. The place looks long abandoned, and your anxiety calms as you move into the center of the room, where a rickety armoire lay tipped onto its side, the contents spilling out onto the floor. Among the dust and debris, you make out a frayed wool blanket, perfect for keeping you warm until dawn.

Just as you settle down and pull the blanket around yourself, a voice sounds from a corner of the room.

"I'm glad you've made yourself feel at home here."
